No self respecting aussie would be boozed up on Fosters thankyou very much![:-]

Spare a thought for us poor bastards that have to follow the company line and are forced to "drink the product" all day as part of the day job.

Fortunately I'm in the wine wing of the business, but when you get a hankering for a brew that isn't fosters or CUB (owned by fosters), well, then it ain't free . . .

Still not convinced about the two day turns. Seems that half of the most important days in history are "odd" numbered days.

Without the daily ability to bend my banana-troops to my will things in the pacific would turn to complete chaos. Passionfruit, oranges, coconuts etc. etc. Nobody wants that.

Naval Gun Fire at Kuching (28,56) - Coastal Guns Fire Back!

22 Coastal gun shots fired in defense.
Allied Ships
SS KXV, hits 7, on fire

What happened here? Did the sub get damaged during a bombardment of the port it was in or did it attempt a suicide 1 sub attack against Jap held Kuching?

Something that was corrected once and somehow snuck back into the game too late to be corrected before going gold... (it is on the list for the patch)

For now you will have to keep in mind that if you sail a sub into a base hex with a CD Unit present your probably gonna get shot at by the CD unit...

Whoa! Is that ever going to keep people from sitting their subs in enemy ports... [X(]

Maybe when you think about it enough, you'll realize that it could be considered an "enhancement"...[;)]

I know Kid is pissed over the inability to get his ships out of port, but I think I may opt for two day turns because of it. Slows down naval ops a bit.

if it's any consolation to him......I didn't want to hit the port twice in two days....it increases my op losses.

I'm not upset its just one of the drawbacks. I still perfer 2 day turns over 1 day turns.

With the appearance of the strong Japanese air power in the SRA area [:(]I will now have to rethink my strategy. I do not have the air power needed to hold such large air groups off so I must start the pull out of all the ships in the area. I will try and take as much fuel and resources as I can but I stand the chance of losing a lot of ships.

That was a bug? Pity -- I was about to complement the game designers for including the ability to bombard with a submarine's deck gun. (The Japanese actually threw a few shells into the west coast historically.)
