Just a few words from one of the 150.000 visitors of SPIEL'04 in Essen/Germany:
I think it was a good decision to send all the stuff to this games convention. Not only because I could buy some of the excellent Matrix Games. This is one of the biggest game conventions in the world. And it is the best opportunity to meet their customers and to sell the games to a lot of new players here in Europe. Only if they sell games they will be able to produce new ones. No sales -> no new games -> no patches for any game.
150.000 visitors in 4 days! If only 1% of them went to the Matrix booth, you can imagine how much those 4 people had to do during that time. I don't know, how much they sold during those 4 days, but at least Matrix and their games are much better known now. And this is an important fact for them, if they want to sell more games all over the world and thus providing us with more of those games that we love so much...
