I don't think I show any disrespect for Mogami or anyone else, I just don't happen to agree with alot of their views regarding the game's issues. I'm also guilty for not being politically correct. If that appears to be a lack of respect then I apologize.
I didn't quite mean it that way--would have been best to have phrased my message differently.
But no biggie. You can take it? Right? [:)]

No problem TJ. I was more concerned with the fact that I may come across disrespectful of people. I'd drink beer with anyone here too Mog, especially vets.

Japan TRIED to get Palembang with its refineries by surprise - committing the airborne of the Army for the first time (the Navy had used airborne already at Menado).
I keep forgetting to discount the need for Allied propaganda. The Japanese did get Palembang undamaged after all. The Indonesians welcomed them. The lead company had an army intelligence officer aboard who spoke Malay - and they gave him a complete run down of current Dutch units in the area - and the fact there were no tanks! This is similar to what happened in many places in Malaya - the locals immediately helped the IJA - which had done its homework - and had local language experts in the front lines.

The game works for me. I enjoy playing it. It is not going to have a major overhaul so I don't waste my time posting everything I would change there is no point.
I do not think this is correct. I think Matrix has been willing to fix things in the past. I remember when AKs could not carry oil - and I suggested a mechanism - and now you can carry it - at a penalty. I remember when UV had APDs showing up years early - but they don't any more! And I have reason to believe there will be both revisions to WITP and a WITP II.

News to me. How do you load oil on an AK? I have oil in places I don't want to send a tanker...

Sorry. Imprecise language. Fuel. In early UV, AKs could only carry supply points. I said "what about barrolled fuel?" and suggested 2:1 penalty. It was adopted. I have found identifiable issues get addressed a good deal of the time - or used to.
Does it matter when???

Mogami - you said resource centers might be damaged - so you don't know if you will get too much supply.
Does it matter WHEN you get too much supply? I think you are ignoring the problem altogether - recource centers should not produce such vast supply points. And by definition, if they are in Allied hands, they are feeding the Allies those supplies. Still wrong.
