RE: Iwo Falls without a fight

Well i think billy took the bait he's got 3000 AP that is chasing me further inland up north. Hopefully i'll be able to draw him far enough in so that i can destroy his garrison at wuhan without too much fight. It will be a small victory since he has about 10,000 AV on mainland china but if we can pull this off he'll only have 9200 AV

The hawaain div, 2nd marine bde, 3rd us are moving towards their destinations. The 3rd Us is moving to baten the hawaiin and 2nd marine are moving to shanghai to wait in reserve. Transports are almost to syndey then we'll sprint up north. We're about 2 weeks out from the big event folk. I need to start transferring some CD guns to iwo and baten as well so any attack to harrass me will be met with deadly force. i am anxious to put the USS maryland's 16 inch guns to use. Being that i was born in baltimore maryland it is nice . Any comments or advice would be well recieved from anyone viewing. Are my chances for success poor? what would you do?
The last major operation i planed was my last game with billy...and it was capturing pearl harbor and we know what a mess that turned out to be. I took pearl but i burnt out every single unit i had practically.
The plan for after wuhan falls is to push to hsinyang and try to hold. That *should* loosen up the flank on nanking and billy would be obligated to be withdraw or face encirclement. But the more likely option is that he will counterattack and try to push me back again. So perhaps a small fient to hsinyang and keep the bulk of my forces at wuhan.
Maybe even push my forces up to hsinyang then take them west into the interior of china that gives me access to the roads all the way upto russia. If i can open up the russian main city i can get about 800-1000 more AV within 2 turns.
