Greetings. Guys, please tell me about the problem of updating databases. I haven't been playing the simulator for a long time and I haven't got used to all aspects yet. We have version 1328.18 and the database version is V501. I don't understand how to update the database version at all.Tell me please

2) There is a whole chapter that explains exactly that in the manual. Chapter 8.

The manual comes with the game.

On the startup screen right below the Play button is the manuals button. Click that then go to chapter 8.

There's wrong decription for the GBU-24B.

That description was fixed awhile back. Right now, there isn't a description file for the GBU-24/B. I suspect you have an old version of the description files. Before you do your next update of the game, do the following:
1-Move your Command Modern Operations/DB/Descriptions to somewhere else on your hard drive
2-Install the updated game files

What that will do is install a completely new, up to date set of descriptions into your game. You can delete the moved description files once you have verified the game inserted new description files.

That is the most current file. For your reference, whenever you do an update, the game also gives you the most up to date file. FWIW, I'll hopefully have a new file out relatively soon.

When you search database for

Updated images & descriptions packs are now available on the WS downloads page!

The CWDB update is now 1.56 GB, and contains 8233 files, and the DB3000 update is now 3.29 GB and contains 17675 files. In addition to the increase in the number of images, the release team has given the images a 16:9 aspect ratio (or very close to that) and tags added (with exceptions for most weapons and sensors). The secondary image files pack remains as-is, and contains a total of 508 MB and 4,485 images.

The images can also be downloaded on-demand from within CMO (no manual action needed). If you wish to re-download images that you have already got (e.g. to update), delete all files in these folders:
[CMO]\DB\Images\DB3000
[CMO]\DB\Images\CWDB

Special recognition for this release to CV60, tylerblakebrandon, and Rams128 - with extra special "MY MAN!" props to Kgambit who handled this release while fleeing Hurricane Helene!
