Posted it in Pauk's AAR, so I will repeat it here!
A shame to see such a great game and AAR go prematurely.
Cudos to both of you for creating one of the best AARs ever [8D]

I was really enjoying the game but Pauk was getting to much grief from certain individuals and he simply doesnt need to put up with it - and I agree with him on this

Ive ben an avid follower of Pauks AAR for a long long time, and resisted the urge to read yours too Andy.
That said I should like to say thank you for such a great game , It's been a roller coaster of a read and i can supply nails for the end of your 2x4 [;)]

6" minimum and rusty please......
I will let it go in a few days after some more struggles with the ever changing variants of Indian Inf Divs and AIF junglification upgrades, and the SA ratings on Matildas and CD defences in India and upgrade paths for british AA guns and the off map convoy sustem .......arrrrggghhhh brain overload !!!
I have a land team submisison to go finish I will go and brutalise some more at start CW forces and have another go at Percivals ratings every time I get angry he loses 10 points of land skill then I become reasonable again and so it goes round and round and round.

Will do on the next turn
I admit I do have a thang about Malaya but I am getting a little predictable but its such a good strategic position so many bases to defend right on the jap LOC.
BUT I am getting predictable so I may go elsewhere.....
ufff... just finished with reading with 21st page. I had a hunch how i lucky i was in this game now I'm sure!!!

OK guys I have a proposal for you all I don't want to continue this game as is because frankly this is my game v Pauk and its quite personal to us warts and all. Also we have got to the stage in it now where the strategic options for both sides are limited.
I have saves from the game in March 43 after PM was retaken but before the Marshalls allied carrier defeat.
AND
December 43 After the Marshalls defeat but before the allies fully committed to Burma.
I would be willing to consider taking on a game from either of those points with HR's to be agreed if someone wants to step into Pauks shoes.
(I cannot face another 1942 with all the AE turns I am churning)
I would guarantee finishing the game even if AE comes out before hand.
AAR is probably something I would have to say I wont do as I am to busy but I could cope with a game.
I have one person interested but if anyone else wants to think about it send me a PM and I will work out if its possible.
I have not yet reviewed the allied position but if you check out Pauks AAR from those two points you will have a fair idea of the situation. p.s. I have not yet read Pauks AAR bar the last page deliberately.

[:D][:D]
I just simply hate losing and its hard to say I didnt lose this one...
A big part of my depression over the end of the game is that I wanted to perform the miraculous comeback because I hate losing...
Did I mention I hate losing [:'(][:'(]
I guess I am just a tad to competitive !!!!!

It's sad to see the AAR end like this.

Oh damn.
It's sad to see this game go. I had almost forgotten how it got started, looking at the start of the thread brings back many memories

hades1001 I am the allied player its the japanese player thats left the game.
To be honest this game is now so far down the line and so deep into late 44 that I would not want to continue with it from this pont against anyone but Pauk - we are just to far down the line with no more strategic choices.
I am exploring the option of starting from an earlier points in this game against another player but my time limitations with AE probably prevent me from playing Japan (plus I have no skill in playing Japan)
The game points I have saved is March just after the fall of Port Moresby - at that point both sides are at full strength and not committed to any attacks.
I will seriously start looking to see if anyone wants to try a game next week. I am sure Pauk will provide the PW for the game to anyone that wants to review the Japanese side.
