I missed Downton Abbey first time round. ITV 3 are now repeating all episodes from the start ahead of series 4.
I must say, I am really enjoying it [:)] What a superb cast - Dame Maggie Smith, Hugh Bonneville and Penelope Wilton in particular. Great stuff.

Change Of Habit, Elvis's last scripted film. A really good down to earth movie, having seen a few of the others I had no idea that he was such a good actor, real shame he did not take up the offers of A Star Is Born and Midnight Cowboy, maybe he would not have ended up being a bird in a gilded cage in Vegas, really feel that contributed to his passing, all folks wanted was Elvis the singer, no one had any intention of letting him be anything other than that.

The noon time movie is "THE BRIDGES AT TOKO-RI".
This movie is the only one that I know of that features one of my favorite looking birds.
The Grumman F9F Panther.

This is
NOT a must see movie. The movie does point out aircrew attrition very well, but the charactors and dialogue are completely forgetable. It takes place in 1943 out of North Africa and it was interesting to see P-40s in use as escorts. The aerial combat computer graphics were done by the same people that did the DOGFIGHT series. They are not the worst I've seen, but at times it looked very cartoonish.
I really can't say I recommend this movie, but if you are a fan of the DOGFIGHT series you may want to give it a look, just don't pay top dollar for it.
