Works for me.  If its not working for you, then I would guess that your pop-up blocker or firewall is the culprit.  However, there is a way to manually "quote".  Just put [qu[/i]ote] and [/qu[/i]ote] at the beginning and end of your cut-n-pasted text.  That will generate the little white box.

I have only been gone from the thread for less than 22 hours (and I peeked at lunch as guest without logging on).  I want to know what principle we are talking about.  Let me quess; elementary, junior high or high school.  Wait that is principal.

That works OK for one quote, but for multiple stuff like this, that is not a great solution...
