The group has the maximum number of pilots - no "add pilot" buttons available...
Then do this (assumes you are using a recent version):

- Click on the column header for Delay, that will sort by that column.

- Put your cursor over the top pilot with delay of '1'.

- Right-click on that pilot. Leave your mouse cursor exactly where it is.

- Use your other hand to type 'Y' to answer the confirmation question about making the pilot active.

- Right-click on next pilot, etc.

This can be done very quickly if you can use two hands as instructed above. Best I've come up with.

For training purposes I have assigned 30 out of 36 pilots to group reserve - the 30 slackers are high-experience veterans who have earned some R&R and the six active pilots are rookies who will share the 100% training among themselves trying to catch up.

Now I want to set the veterans to active status again and have to click and confirm the change back to active status one by one - which is fast becoming tedious...

Is there another way to do this as batch operation? If not, could we get a "reset all pilots to active" button on the pilot screens?
It is not too hard to add another pool click so you get 'group->reserve->active'. This would only work when doing Group pilot management.

Would going back to making the "Get Pilot" work like it used to but changed at some point to you only being able to "Get Pilot" when short max total pilots?

It is simpler to do it this way, then try to handle the various ways 'Get pilot' decides who to pick. Always allowing the 'Get pilot' button to be active (as would be needed just to handle case of someone activating a pilot) could end up overloading groups with too many pilots.

Lokasenna and I are trying to upgrade. He downloaded a beta called "x6". I downloaded today and got "x6a". But the "Previous Build is "x5".

I get a nag box when I try to load his x6 turn as Allies, so I assume there's a difference.

Can we get the "Previous Build" to be x6?

I'm just glad we get new patches at all. Thanks to those responsible! Must admit I'd like to see the source code for this game so I could develop/mod it further myself - updated UI and unlimited waypoints manager for TFs would be high on my list.

I started a fresh new game using 1.7.11 23x5 and noticed that I've not been accumulating any Political Points since end of December 1941. I've played 7 turns (using 1 day turns), and my points are 0. I looked to see if I was losing points due to non-withdrawal of mandated ships but that is not the case.

I'm on Jan 17, 1942 turn.

Anything I've overlooked?

when I updated I came up with this version: 1.7.11.23u, whereas my opponent has 1.7.11.23x7. Is it the same version? are we doing sth wrong? our pbem has stopped while we wait for an answer to avoid syncro issues.
Any help is very welcome!

You have the wrong version. The latest is 1123x7 found on the first page of this thread.
