The big 4 carriers that were chasing an Allied surface TF needs something else to do so I'm sending it north to help take care of another
Allied TF approaching location code named Maladopted and eventually save Kwajalein from getting bombarded if possible. Lots of
service ships parked at K. and I'd hate to see them have to lift a finger. I'm thinking that the big 4 will arrive sometime during a 3rd day.

I'm going to send an AV out into what I hope is the middle of the path from Colombo to Perth and I'm going to let him hang out there for a
little while to see what traffic is like now-a-days. I expect there to be about 6 TF's going to and from so I'm guessing he'll see about 1.
I'm not sure what I'll do about the traffic once I see it. Maybe get the AV to trail it to illumiinate it's path for a better interception of the TK
or AK or whatever kind of traffic it is.

Here's the resource history of the home islands. Jim send me his moves and I've watched the movie and you guys should stand by for
some fresh combat reports.

There were several night Jap air attacks on Darwin.

And then my boys hit Cagayan w/ a night naval bombardment that got good hits:

My BB, CA, and DD were all just lounging around Wake when the Allied ships attacked. I think we did well according to all the damage.
The BB is sys: 9, flt: 8, and eng: 6 and the fires are out. The CA was more heavily damaged but there's a CL that was hanging around
Wake as well.....I'll join him to this TF and creep back at cruise speed to Kwaj with these damaged ships. That is, if Jim will let me. I see
where he's got some DD's headed west from east of Wake and I'm thinking he's not through yet. Maybe.Hope I can keep him around
long enough for my carriers to get here.

And there were several daytime air raids on Manila: I can't tell for sure but I think my aerial attacks are getting more deadly for the
Allies.

The planes from the CVL Nissin were beached at location code named Maladaptive and they got into the fight too. One carrier's worth
of planes doesn't make much of a dent though.

There were three Allied TF's active yesterday so I got a shot at this one and the others escaped to the south I guess. They have just all
disappeared from the radar screen. It's time for the carrier to refit anyway.

The Maladapted crew finds another Allied CA to hit:

Yeah, I was actually attacked by 3 Catallina's. Rough way to do recon, you ask me....I can't imagine why Jim would attack w/ his recon
assets. Maybe he's out of bombers or something.

Jim has some Catalina's that will reach Christmas Island IO. Interesting, good to know. I don't know how much of a threat just 2 or 3 Cat's
are though. I'm guessing low. I suppose I could run a DD out there so he could share his AA assets w/ the port. Maybe a couple of them
would mitigate the PBY attacks. Worth a try.

One of my subs is having a bad day.

One of my subs finds an AO to shoot at:

First establish a picket ship over the target to let you know when somebody comes for a visit, then when you feel a tug on the fishing line
and some Allied ships show up then you send in the killers and they take care of the situation, then you send them on to refit and reset
the process. Works pretty good so far. I may have to establish some bases further down toward Fiji so as to be able to get to these
kinds of out-of-the-way places. Oh, and I've got to build a base at Lunga too and call it Guadacanal, like in the movies.

Here's how it went on the ground at Manila:

I gotta put a stop to those bombardment attacks at Kluong. I'm losing too many people doing that.

And the Allies did their daily ground bombardment of Port Moresby. I'm losing so many people because of a lack of supply that I've
decided that I need to either supply them or evacuate them. I'll send some supply ships first because that's worth a try and with some
more naval bombardment I might just be able to save this situation.

My worst fear has come true......Jim has gone over the figures and he's found out that he can take back a good portion of the Malaya
Archapelligo. This is just the first in a long series of fighting withdrawls I'm going to have to make. I bought out a division, the 14th, but
as far as I know it's still in Mongolia and moving to a port. I'll show you a picture of where it is. So I'm guessing Jim has about 3 weeks
to give me his best shot but after that I'm thinking that with the 14th Division I can regain all that I'm about to lose. I'm thinking Jim's going
to give it a heck of a shot though.

Here's the 14th Division that I spent about 500+ PP's to buy out to change the HQ to the 16th Army......I don't know if that's the HQ I
should have given it but it was available. I'm guessing the 14th will be another week in transit to Port Arthur but the good news is that I
should be able to round up all the shipping I need to move it somewhere. I need about 18K in shipping space to move it and I'm guessing
that that's about 9 or 18 ships ( AP's and AK's ). I'll keep you in the loop about this situation.
