Nah. No road trips. To dark. To cold. To expensive.

Just before this isolation thingie begun there was a café that had cats on their staff. And there you could borrow a cat to cuddle with. If the cat was so inclined, of course. Wouldn't mind having a cat pestering me right about now.

There is a solutions or two . . .

Either use a medicine to help you or . . .

Talk to your medical provider about desensitizing shots. They will give you small injections of something that you are allergic to and your body will slowly learn that it is not actually bad. Then the allergic reaction lessens to be bearable or goes away completely.

What you are actually allergic to is not the cat per se, but a protein in the saliva. But since cats groom themselves constantly because it feels good. So that protein is on the hair which flies around. I supposed that it could be reduced if you bathe a cat with water but you might need to wear a suit of armour to protect yourself.

I was allergic to cats as a child but I grew out of it. Now I have 2 cats in the house....GP

Looks like we may be fortunate. It's cold and there is some freezing, but the amount of rain has been less than expected. No problems in my area, but a little to the north of us is a different story.

The second was taken on 1/20/21 with the front part cleared and graded, and the footprint of the house staked out. Just need all the rain to stop for a while now.

Good afternoon all. Been quite busy with a cancer issue since early October. Thus taking it easy. Still doing work for an architect. Then I go downstairs and relax. Hopefully this issue will resolved by early to mid April.

Hopefully things will work out well for you. Keep up a positive attitude, kill it with your mind.

At least you are warming up a little.

I went to another town for errands. I did the first one, then I walked about 6 blocs to a gas station that has very good coffee. Then I went to a grocery store for more errand, when I was done I called a bus. I got a cashier who was stocking shelves to laugh when I told her to put the M M candies upside down so people will think that they are Weight Watchers. Then I called for a bus ride to another store. There are regular routes as well as dial a ride busing in that town.

Did you know that the bus driver did not complain when I asked him to dispose of a Long John.* At first he though that I wanted him to throw it away but I said only do that if he did not want to eat it. He said that he would wait until he could enjoy it all at once.

*Long Jong = rectangular fried raised bakery item, as in raised doughnut. This one was not filled with anything but it did have a maple frosting with chopped walnuts on top . . . [:D]

Already did. A couple of procedures to go. I hate those. But should be gone by early April.
