PS. My experiment turned out correct I can demand the Normandy coast as a lend in a surrender and get Glory out of it. Thats a kinda cool mechanic. I had never done that in single player as there isnt much reason to.

Up front warning here folks, from now on in August is gonna be an absolute Bitch for me, the stand-in NP at work got caught with his hands in the till and as a consequence I'm sole cover for the other regular NP who has Hols booked through Aug, so I'm gonna be doing 4-5 + nights instead of my normal 2, therefore I may be a bit slow in responding to Diplo/Chat type stuff, I aint being rude just tired! I'll hopefully keep on top of return files etc, but if not bare with me.

I love the ways English and American have diverged over the last 200 years.

Posibly not, NPs generally are there for security, serving guests in the bar, Night audit, seting up Conferances/Wedding functions and a whole host of other jobs, but obviously their primary responcibility is in the event of a fire or other crisis during the Night when there are no Managers on site.

I love the ways English and American have diverged over the last 200 years. Yer just look at all the important things you lost out on eg Cricket, proper Football, Fish & chips, Bangers & Mash, a Heratige with pedigree, the ability to speak & spell correctly etc. etc. etc. You got the "Wealth" but bog all else [:D]

Actually we do eat fish and chips. But that might be more in the Northeast and Pacific NW where I live than nationwide. Not all places in the US are big on seafood.

Night Porter sounds like a doorman combined with a maitre d' I think.
