PI still looks light, just a matter of bringing up loads of infantry! Under proper air cover of course...

Air rosses from 22nd. The poor, suffering Kates. And the Zeroes. The Wellies suffered a bit too. Can you say that, "Wellies"?

Does your opponent have an AAR running by any chance?

The Bay of Bengal was abandoned? I suspect it's the building codes.

Hmmm ... those xAP's are going to unload quite slowly .. I think it will take no less than 3 full turns to unload? I guess eventually some Naval support will arrive? Once those ships announce themselves -- JJ is going to be quite perturbed . something akin to knocking over a hornets nest ..

I assume Prome is fully supressed?
Even though there is no road .. I have found that Ramree island does propagate supply forward once built up ...

Prome is empty. The plan is to drop 50th Para Brigade on it.
I didn't show the build-up forces which do include lots of naval support squads.

I think there is a small tank unit at Prome but that is not enough to displace a Commonwealth brigade.
The greater risk is LYB LBA. I also think it will take about 3 d to unload those AP's at Ramree over a level zero port with no naval support although it is certainly possible to use whatever gets ashore on day 1 and then bug out until an airbase is built. It seems however that we wont have construction engineers right off the bat unless a Commonwealth corps HQ has them intrinsically.
There are some small surface combatants at Rangoon.

When I said follow on forces I meant 3 divisions, 3 or 4 brigades plus a metric shedload of support troops. Just so everyone knows.

Yes, the "follow-on" force is really an Army-sized force.

As a further distraction, the first landing on Luzon will go in tomorrow (para drop) on Legaspi in SE Luzon. 8th Marine Regt, a Marine tank Bn and engineers and aviation support will start landing tomorrow night after the base changes hands.
Wasp, the CVE's and several infantry regiments and a "metric shed load"[:)] of armor will arrive vicinity of Ternate tomorrow, about 3-4 d out from a Luzon landing, probably at Lucena.
This may dissuade JJ from sending aircraft from the Phirripines to help in Burma.

This was my intial concern that JJ would empty PI in a very frantic attempt to interdict the landings and they would have one day to change bases, a day to repair ops damage / hit with some sweeps .. and then the next day have a blood fest .. at least with Cap's move in PI JJ will have to decide .. and PI is far more an immediate threat ......[8D]

It's like we planned it. But only like.
