They have no HQ support on Mindanao, save for a few Air HQ at Cagayan. I dont think it's been "a couple of months" but they have been resting for a week or so.

MacArthur (SWPAC) is in a luxury suite aboard an APA which just passed Horn Is. 6th Army HQ just debarked at Manado. SOUPAC is in Darwin.

I Amphib HQ is prepping for Northern Luzon.

The pace of operations has required that we push stuff forward quickly. In some place the logistical tail is still wagging behind. If we are going to take a base in Northern Luzon and Batan Is. by the end of April we need to keep going. No time for R&R.

Oddly, there does not seem to be any movement of the substantial LYB forces at Shwebo or Myitkynia. If the large Indian force moving SW from Kalmeyo crosses the Irrawaddy and finds an empty hex in about 10 d or so, then Myitkynia will quickly become untenable. By then, the Chindits should cut the rail line as well.

I do think they mean to form a line along the Irrawaddy near Prome, to include the hex SW of Prome where the rail lien crosses.

Dry Dock Management:

Cape Town (80K tons): Ramilles (2-3 months) Can't accomodate any more large ships after Revenge arrives in a week or so. Revenge also needs about 3 mos.

Colombo (40K tons): Pennsylvania (5+ mos) You could take Pennsylvania out of drydock, leave her at pierside to repair system damage and put either PoW or Victorious in dry dock. Victorious could go to Sydney but that seems very dangerous. As PoW can make 25 kts, probably best to send her to Eastern US and let Victorious repair at Colombo. Alternatively, you could send PoW to Cape Town and bump one of the other BB's out of line.

Sydney (30K tons): Can be used for the USN CA's and CL's and DD's and subs and for CVE upgrades.

Bombay (20K tons): Hermes can fit.

Aden (20K tons): Cornwall maybe.

Pearl (100K tons): 3 US BB's (6-10 mos) Fagettaboutit

Western US: US BB's

Auckland: US Crusiers and DD's
