this could have been my next battle, but I think kicking their asses on the home turf of IWO JIMA in a defend doesn't jive with actual history so I'm going to resellect!

the map is beutiful for a defend but I have to reconsider since the japanese would NEVER allow forein forces to establish a defensive posture on one of their closest islands to their mainland.

How sweet it is guys, I got this as my next somewhat biased battle for Iwo jima.

I'm very happy to have a meeting engagement for this fight,always thought of my force as the second wave disembarked to go"finish the job of the first waves exploits" type of Battalion. notice the campaign summary total of battles![;)]

made each of my platoon seperations individual task groups with my commandos riding spearhead with recci support. same sort of map but the road splits reverse direction.
