Minor database correction: DB3000 Gabriel I missile (Weapon_1559). Database claims a cruise altitude of 9 meters. Jane's says it cruises at 17-20 meters, descending to 4.5 to 6 meters in the terminal phase.
Jane's also claims a range of 10.8 nm. The database also claims an IOC of 1973. However, it was IOC no later than 1970, as it was sold to both Taiwan and Singapore that year

Friedman, Norman. The Naval Institute Guide to World Naval Weapon Systems, 1997-1998, pg. 230 claims the range is "20+km", and that it cruises at 20 meters.

Another minor correction: The "Properties" section claims a possible imaging seeker. According to Jane's, it isn't really an imaging seeker. Rather, there is a Kollmorgen Mk 35 stabilized sight on the firing ship that is used by a human using a joystick to fly the missile to the target. Friedman seems to corroborate this description.

				 [ADDED DB v440]

 Hi.
I am requesting to add the russian Marshal Nedelin class of missile range instrumentation ships. There is only on unit left of these vessels designed to track missile launches (space or ICBM and experimental stuff). The "Marshal Krylov" is currently undergoing refitting work in Vladivostok. Modernization of SIGINT capabilities isn't unlikely. Reports also non specificly mention "electronic weapons".

 Data so far:

Minor DB issue in DB3000: JP.233 (Weapon_223) is listed as being an anti-runway weapon. While it was designed primarily for anti-runway use, it did so by using a shaped charge to blow a small a hole in the runway and inserting an explosive charge to form a difficult-to-repair void under the tarmac. Accordingly, it could be used against any target that is similar to a runway, such as rail marshalling yards or permanent supply depots.

http://www.wk2ammo.com/showthread.php?6 ... enial-mine

Going that way, shouldn't all runway cratering weapons have their Valid targets list accordingly extended to include "Land Structures (Hard)"?

 #225 - MW-1 Anti-Runway Dispenser [100 x Runway Penetrators + 336 x Area Denial Mines]
 #687 - Apache [10 x KRISS Runway Penetrators]
 #1026 - BetAB-500SP CB [12 x Anti-Runway Penetrator Bomblets]
 #1032 - Durandal [BLU-107]
 #1033 - BAP.100 Anti-Runway
 #1709 - DWS.39 AFDS [24 x STABO]
 #2944 - China Type 200-4 [Durandal Copy]

I'm not sure if this has been requested yet, but it looks like India will be purchasing Rafale aircraft. I don't know if there will be any significant differences between the French and Indian versions, but it looks like India is going to buy/build at least 100 of them. (I wonder if they will be buying/building a carrier-capable version?) Anyway, it should probably be added eventually. Here are some links...

 Thanks for considering this one.

[Barroso ADDED DB v440, NO INFO ON THE OTHER]

 Barroso-class corvette
 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazilian_ ... _%28V34%29

 Tamandaré-class corvette
 http://www.naval.com.br/blog/2014/10/28 ... -tem-nome/
 http://www.strategicdefenceintelligence ... tamandar-/
 http://defense-update.com/20141128_seaceptor.html
(looks like it will be similar to the Barroso, but stealthy, perhaps like the Visby)

(I know there isn't much to go on for these yet, but I figured it couldn't hurt to mention them and get them in the pipeline. Stealthy Brazilian corvettes? What's not to love?)

DB 3000 issue for discussion and possible correction: According to Friedman, the Paveway III series LGB has a [probable] range of 3-5 nm, vice the 8 nm in the database. However, Friedman also notes the Paveway III has a 5:1 glide ratio, so that could justify the database game numbers, for releases at high altitude.
The Paveway II series (and I assume the Paveway I series, as both I and II use "full deflection" i.e., "bang bang" airfoils) are listed by Friedman as having 1-3 nm range, vice the 4 nm in the database.
I just wanted to raise this potential issue. Given the large difference between the database and Friedman, I would recommend getting some confirmation of the Friedman numbers before recommending a change, especially on the Paveway III series.
Friedman, Norman. The Naval Institute Guide to World Naval Weapon Systems, 1997-1998 Annapolis, Md: Naval Institute Press, 1998, pg. 253-54

 From Jane's Air-Launched Weapons (2002):
 - GBU-10 has a maximum range of 8 nm when released from an altitude of 30,000 ft.
 - GBU-12 has a maximum range of 8 nm when released from an altitude of 30,000 ft.
 - The Paveway II (UK) LGB (...) is credited with a maximum range of 8 nm when released from an altitude of 30,000 ft.

 - GBU-24 has a maximum range of 9.98 nm when released from an altitude of 30,000 ft.
 - When configured with the BLU-109/B warhead, the Paveway III (UK) LGB(...) is credited with a maximum range of 9.98 nm when released from an altitude of 30,000 ft.

Add Russian / Sovjet Ship "SSV-33 Ural".
 SSV-33 Project 1941 "Ural"

#385, #1432, #805, #1733 "R 22 Viraat [Hermes]" has place for 110 large aircrafts (60x hangar, 50x open parking), that seems to be way to much for a 22000 ton carrier.

Thanks. I thought Friedman looked off, but because I didn't have the Jane's data, so I couldn't confirm my suspicion.

 Further information here:

http://defense-update.com/20141127_f35b ... IGGZNWsXfp

 shows that they have
four external Paveway IV (presumably two internal as well?) for a maximum of six, shows two ASRAAM as well.

It was on Twitter back then, when Jean-Yves Le Drian (French MinDef)announced it.

https://twitter.com/Defense_gouv/status ... 5713727488

It's unsure yet if they will be actually bought or loaned.

 These are the advertised role:

Interestingly another role will be C2:

That said, note that "first delivery is foreseen for 2018" so things can change 'till then.
