if bituminous you can make candy(horrible) with it,
if anthracite it can be polished and set as jewelry.
what a surprise a Pennsylvania boy would know this.

Or you can burn it[:D]. I use to know a guy who was so tight with his money that he could shove a lump of coal up his A** and in a week he would S**T out a Diamond[X(]....GP
He was a grump too...................
