TF 335 is two carriers w/ escorts and I've just asked them to go investigate that Allied TF at Espirite Santos and maybe try to sink some-
thing. He's got sorties left but the Kates on the Akagi are down to 2-plane units now. All those sorties on the ports of Brisbane and
Townsville has left me w/ only a few Kates. I'll have to send it back to Tokyo or somewhere to get those squadrons swapped out for
fresh ones.

Supplies for Lunga are finally arriving. Guadacanal in real life wasn't a port or an airfield until, like, August 42 IIRC, and fuel is being
loaded especially for Lunga, and engineers are being rounded up for Lunga. Let's see how long it takes to produce a base there.

I-30 reports that some Allied ships have come to visit Palmyra and there's more on the way. So I've got to see if I can put together a
response for this. Maybe I don't have much I can do right now. I'll have to look around for some AO's to get all the way out to Palmyra.
Jim has already destroyed 3 of my prescious AO's and I'd really rather not lose any more so I'm putting out picket ships whenever I can
scrape up another one. I'm using SC's PB's and some scattering of DD's But the more immediate emergency is this one that I-30
reports. If I don't act pretty quick Jim will be able to unload some troops there and then my problem compounds. I'll get back to you on
this one.

If I can manage to get the DMS W-3 fixed in Saigon then I'll have two DMS ships in the inventory. W-5 is on her way out to Maladapted
and I'm thinking of using W-3, after it's fixed, at Bataan, to clean up the last of that remaining minefield. I'd hate to fight the rest of the war
with just two DMS ships. I'd better take a look at how the building of some more DMS ships might be done. I'll get back to you.

According to the ship availability screen I'm due to get three more DMS ships the rest of the war, one in July, one in August, and one
almost a year from now. And I'll have to make do with that addition to the fleet.

Diego Garcia is an excellent place for Jap subs to hunt: On the other hand it's damaging my subs at a higher rate than any other station.
I'm thinking I'm going to have to give those KV's some breathing room.

I was hoping to find two wounded BB's and these ain't them. I'm thinking I'd best leave these guys alone. They can shoot.

Jim has honed those PBY's into a finely sharpened tool, deadly to all ships alike. We're sailing into deadly waters here.

Those Hurricane pilots in Java must be pretty good. Only one Hurricane shot down.
