Yes, plus they lose readiness when you transfer them to a new unit, so I guess that's best.

Ok - about the cargo ships.
Here is what I've done as allies.
Australia 1 cargoship
Calcutta 1-2 cargoships
South Africa 1 cargoship
Suez 1-2 cargoships
Gibraltar 1 cargoship
UK - the port in the west - I think it's Manchester 2-3 cargoships
UK reaction/invasion fleet 2-3 cargoships
Canada/Boston 2 cargoships
TOTAL: 12-15 cargoships around the world before US comes into the war
Australia production --> Australia (focus on troops/ships/planes)
S.A. production --> S.A. (focus on ships/PP)
NEI production --> India, perhaps one factory - Sumatra I think - to Suez (build supply depots in Suez, India, Australia, and smaller ones in Singapapore and other Pacific fortresses)
India production --> India or Suez (focus on troops/planes)
Mid-east production --> Suez/Gib
U.S. production --> HQ in Boston or HQ in Canada (focus on ships/PP/planes - whatever is produced here can be transferred to Manchester manually)
You're going to end up w/ some large-ish supply depots in mid-east, in India, in Australia, and some smaller ones in your pacific fortress areas. This is fine - ship what you can. You'll later use those supplies to fuel your large navies, air units, and ground forces that operate out of India/Suez/Australia even after you lose NEI. You can also use these supplies for tech upgrades of your units.
This way when war comes you're not stuck w/ a large transport fleet - instead you have a reasonable transport fleet, some large supply depots, and the ability to supply large navies around the world.

These Maginot Line looks weak. Look at their supply. They don´t get enough supply !
Make sure England and France get enough supply.
If the Blitz comes next turn you should start to pray...
I bet your opponent already realized the weakness of your troops and will start his attacks fast as possible.

Well UK doesn't get enough supplies to keep everythign fully supplied and build new unis during the winter. It's one or the other and i am choicing the other.

But what keeps your opponent from overrunning you at 10:1 odds?

oh my - man - that is rough looking france - those guys need to be at full supply and readiness when the blitz hits - that is serious priority.
Honestly if that is how you are going to supply France you are better off shipping them all to England - they are worthless with 10 readiness.

WORTHLESS ! These guy´s are already dead. The Germans just have to look at them.....
If you don´t give them enough supply to be real combat units you can disband them and
invite the Germans to occupy France for free [;)]
Sorry, but you don´t have the right priorities here.

Do you have all your cities in France assigned to your French HQ?
I seem to remember doing that in my games and not having any difficulty suppling my troops in France.
As west in this scenario you should use local cities to supply some of your remote HQ's. Your very spread out unlike Germany who can get away with running all there supplies through OKW. Places like Egypt, India, France often are better off looking for a local supply source.

Looks like he bombed your Maginot till it destroyed the forts? I wonder if you pulled back a hex and he moved in if it would negate his getting the blitz card? Probably played it by now though...

Sorry for the delay. My priorities were not on holding france but on preparing england thsi time. Keeping england supplied is all of my concern. But it appears my opponent didnt build up enough forces as i did as the soviets and i rushed enough forces to the front to allow me todeclare war on the germans. So this should be fun!

I've landed a corps in norway to get that fuel depot. And assigned my bb's to bombard them.

I've also declared war on japan to try to divide his interests since he's invaded china so soon. China has upgraded to divebombers so i will be able to start attacking japanese formations.

After this picture he fell back behind the rivers to regroup. I think perhaps this was a trap but at least it will give me a chance to keep from being on the defensive this whole time. I've also kept my navy 100% intact!

The drive to the supply depot is still ongoing. I will have those supplies and deny them to the hard pressed germans who are also not having to fight in greece and the balkins.

So far so good we're marching on norway still and balkins and greece are standing strong i think mostly becuase he's been scared by USSR early attack.
