After sa stuff up during the turn I am now aware you cannot merge and move on the same turn
The paras go it alone.
With a known 3 stugs roaming about they just hunker down and are soon offered a ceasfire which they glady accept.

We than had a rather amusing half our of crashes , deployment issues etc..
The crash looked like an iternet connection issue but the deployment was an odd one - this required a couple of re-starts.

Midday 21 September - turns move fast when only one map is contested.
Pannerden
50th Div bring a counter to the stugs.
The infantry move quickly to close with the enemy as a 6pdr puts paid to a Stug.
A second Stug is laid to rest
The 3rd Stug. then goes on a rampage destroying 2 Wolverines and an armoured car.... both sides collapse from exhaustion

3pm 21 September
Pannerden v Fanatical SS
Not much in the way of points ... and at least 1 stug. to take care of.
The infantry inch forward securing another VL
The PIAT chalks one up
Both sides again collapse exhausted

BG's merge to try and get some points.
These fanatcal SS are just not going to quit.
How many battles on Pannerden is this?
In no hurry as all the buildings are under control
The SS finally break down
And shortly after...

Congratulations to my opponent for sticking with a total lost cause, he never lost his sense of humour and used what forces he was given with energy and imagination.
25 turns required to achieve total victory
31 turns not played
About 6 maps that took more than one battle to clear - Pannerden was a beauty, Arnhem Heights and Dinther were tight.
Nearly all the others were simply a walkover.
The Axis forces are so weak they can't cover all map VL's and as soon as they are assaulted their morale breaks.
more to follow.....
