Notes/Plans:
Intel -
India - The war has moved steadily north except for my isolated troops in SE corner.
Cawnpore - This urban base now has a highly experienced British Brigade and Recon with BFs build up the AF (forts at 3). AV is around 250. I found a Heavy AA Rgt at colombo and paid the PP to buy it out. Its being loaded and then will head here as the small BF don't have much in the way of heavy AA (only 4 guns each, if at all).
Allahabad - Two of those 80 experience British Brigades, a heavy AA, and 3 BFs are in this base with only forts at 1. I don't think the armor unit now in Benares will come across the river. From Bombay via Jubbulpore a Chinese Corp (355AV with sub-50 experience) will march to the JR hex 2 due west to block any moves in that direction.
Benares - Is now Japan's and the defeated units from Patna will march to the NW around the base. The highly disrupted 23rd Indian Div (still divided due to earlier error on my part with some light AA guns mixed), and other units (without any AA) may be safe for now from the ground. It looks like Imperial Gds Div is headed SW across the river.
2 North Ranchi - I now have a path to jungles to west, but the 17th Indian Div still has disruption at 88. With the IG Div headed this way and only a heavy AA unit (24 guns) to keep his bombers at bay, I don't think the outcome will be very good for me.
Ranchi - 2/3 of 41st American Div along with 4 armored units and a heavy AA are behind F3. This base is secure for now, but I would except a flanking attack to develop from the north if I cannot get 17 Indian into better terrain.
Jamshedpur - My strongest base in the front lines. Forts just went to 4 and I have my two Aussie divisions plus the 20th Indian which are all over 50 experience. My big AA Brigade is here. [8D]
Sambalpur (3 due west of Jamshedpur) - Only a small Rifle Battalion holds base form what may be a Tank Rgt coming in from west. However, 7th Indian div and 254 Armored Brigade are coming form Jamshedpur to smash it.
Dimapur - The remnants from Burma have retreated here (Chinese Corp and Burma Div). They face 3 divisions and will get pushed back to Ledo in a few weeks.
Notes: To any other Allied player, please don't overlook where you send you precious AA units early in the war. Especially those heavy AA. I have some in route from USA, but they will not get to Cape Town for at least 30 days. Another shortage in India is construction engineers. Some are in route from USA, but some SeaBees will be bought out and sent.
40/A Div begins loading at cape Town for Karachi. The rest to follow.
