A new round of naval air combat will force the axis back on land. But the Americans will suffer heavy caualties.

The result is indeed costly! With their strong anti air power, the american fleet will repulse the cleared through bomber which will be forced back on land.

At the start of their 4th impulse, the situation doesn't look good for the Germans. The most unexpected is the surprise advance of the British, and this is the most threatening problem.

In Mandchuria,, Japan manages to recover an important hex. But two more are needed...

Air air combat is no laughing matter against the British! But two bombers out of three manage to get through.

The attack behind the germans succeeds. It almost completes the encirclement of the two German units that have now been reorganized.

Britany is liberated after the capture of Brest. This gives room to the British to maneuver. They will be difficult now to dislodge.

In the south, Bordeau is captured by the Americans.

At the start of their fifth impulse, the German situation is not brilliant. The British look now hard to dislodge, especially as they have the advantage in armor. In the South, the western troops near Bordeau look ready to go North and join the british.

In the East Mediterranean, the italian finds the British with advantage.

The British want to keep the lane open ; this represents 3 production points, in addition to the supply route for the allied units in Lybia. In the second round, the British find the Italians.

The British should consider themselves lucky not to have lost a carrier!
In all honesty, the British only take their due: in afterthought, there was no compelling reason to stay after the first round of combat, except for pride.
