What version are you using now? There was a problem a few versions ago if you remember getting freight to the Northern Italian ports and I'm wondering if you are using the fix for that.

Your interdiction numbers are good, so the weather is the only other variable I believe that would affect the amount you get, unless Oran is dry, which I doubt. Did you take a lot of cargo ship losses? Did you notice?
Im not sure of the sequencing on if the weather changes and then logistics runs or logistics runs then the weather changes. If logistics first then there was a _lot_ of interdiction up.
Seems like I have plenty of cargo ships, but remember this is .11 and there was a fix for ports not getting supply in .13 or .14 ish.

No freight being shipped to beaches is making it hard to smash the germans.
So this game with pelton is using .11, there is a fix for it in .14 or .15 but I can't find the changelogs for those two.

To us not privy to inside information a little elaboration would be very welcome! [:)]

I've had to temporarily halt my game due to the exact same issue. And it seems to be impacting my forces on the TOE as well.
I would expect a fix pretty soon, because this will grind every game to a halt until it is

Hah, and here we all thought it was Peltons brilliance that starved all our landings....Wonder if he will change his scores once he finds out all those wins were thanks to a bug. [:D]

Im not sure if anyone stayed ashore long enough to find out they were not getting any more freight so don't take anything away from Pelton =p
As far as inside information the only thing I will say is that, contrary to what the haters feel, there is a talented and dedicated group that works diligently every day to try to put the best product forward for the wargamers of the world to enjoy.

In Pelton's defense now, this bug just popped up with the supply to beaches.

Hmm, I can´t help feeling that was intended for me...
I wasn´t aware there were any "haters" out there? Some people (including myself) are not happy with the VP system. I´m not going to start that discussion again here. But unless there has been some threads I havn´t seen there hasn´t been any "hating" going on on this board. On the contrary I think the discussions have been very civil and polite.
People have their full right to express unhappiness with some things in a product they have payed for? If not so for the hope that the faults they perceive will be corrected? Calling them haters is rather offensive.
Speaking for myself I´m not hating anything. I´m disappointed an excellent game is dragged down by a very poorly designed scoring system. If I´m stepping on someones toes by saying that I´m sorry but but from a game perspective its the truth. I have the utmost respect for the people involved in the making of WitW and everyone else involved.
PS. I wasn´t serious regarding my comment about Pelton. His victories are all well earned.

Not you joc! Certain other individuals that seem to think nobody tests this game before the public gets it.
One dude accused 2x3 of being terrorists and that the testing team suffers from Stockholm syndrome.
Another dude thought someone else made such a witty post about how bad the testing crew was that he made it part of his signature.
Its a wargame people are expected to bitch about mechanics they don't like [:)]

I know I do my share of bitching!!! I love this game, and want to see it become remembered as fondly as Master Of Orion is today, for me. I was in the service awhile, and I can tell you, that if the troops stop bitching is when you start worrying.

Baelfin, moral of the story: if you use negative VPs, the terrorists win. Also, why does 2by3 hate America?

Daiquiri's all around freight on the beaches lets me get a couple of attacks in. Pelton has evacuated everyone in the south except for a die hard SS unit in rome.
He even managed to sneak an entire infantry division out through the Adriatic.
Looks like the real war is about to begin.

Hit the western side last turn.
Blast a hole in the german lines in the east this turn. I am not ready to cross into the northern Italy garrison area yet however
