Looks like taking Belgium and breaking through to Paris might be a drawn out affair. I see an early O-chit expenditure on the cards.

On the other hand, with Wavell and a strong CW commitment in Europe, can the Italians profit in the Med (although I note the movement of the Indian corps to Alex) or the Japanese in the Far East?

Nice deployment from belgium. Nice way to abuse the ZoC by not setting up in Antwerp and Brussels. :)

Nov/Dec 1939
Impulse: 9

The weather stops any real attacking intent this impulse. It it clear in the Northern Monsoon but, having ridden my luck the previous two impulses, I decide not to push that luck any further.

The Japanese send naval vessels to the Japanese Coast and the China Sea, where the latter pick up a Corps and a Div.

The Germans rail an ART and MIL south to Vienna and an ART west.

The Japanese re-arrange forces in the Kwantung Province.

The Germans continue to move units to the west.

The Italians move some units in the Tripolitania.

The Japanese continue to try and load aircraft on carriers [8|]

And the turn ends on a 2.....

I find that it is easier to rebase aircraft to carriers when I use the naval review form.

Sorry Ormster, this weekend has been something of a washout MWIF-wise.

I have tried to get a game to you prior to going out today but its not happening [:@] - loads of problems with US Entry and the program flickering and unresponsive [:@] Getting too angry so walking away.

I may be able to get a game to you this evening when I return, but cannot promise I'm afraid.

I wonder if that has something to do with Allied support to minors? [&:]

Could you send me the auto save from the Axis HQ reorganisation so I can take a look at it?

Impulse: 1

Nothing much to be done with the weather as is sadly.

The Italians put some NAV and a FTR into the Italian Coast and a sub into the Western Mediterranean.
The Japanese put some cruisers to sea to meet the threat from the Soviet sub. A TRS loads up an INF.

The Japanese rail an INF north.

The Germans and Italians shuffle some units around in Germany/Belgium and North Africa.

The Japanese line up for an attack at 3:1 against the Canton Militia - the use of a bomber is required to achieve these odds.

I assume the Chinese will take the Assault approach. So its 3:1 no modifiers on the Assault table.......

Great! its a 2. The Japanese are all disorganised and lose a unit....

I have yet to establish a route. But I think that I am allowed to use the USSR CP in the Arctic Ocean as part of the chain so that is a likely route.

UK decide to lease arms to the Soviet Union, and make a deal with Norway, Sweden and Finland, in order to use their railway net to transport the goods to the Soviet Union.

No declarations of war.

CW and France take a naval impulse while USSR take a land impulse.

No Port Strikes. No naval air.

CW open a convoy route through the Mediterranean. CW also opens up a convoy route through the North Sea. CW and France send out plenty of convoy escorts. Home Fleet patrol the North Sea. The Western Allies sends loaded transporters to the North Sea, Bay of Biscay, Cape St. Vincent and Mozambique Channel. The British carriers stay in port.

France decide to raid the German ore convoy in The Baltic Sea.
