Yes, it was fun and thanks to everyone for playing. It's kind of interesting how the Burgundy/New Union front essentially became like WWI. I think the German peoples morale was excessive, the French were fairly good defensively but slow. The Char was a good machine but not the indomitable monster of yore.
The French planes were pretty good and were beginning to make a mark on the battle. I think the rail artillery was very useful. Expensive but moves on it's own and fairly effective in strong numbers. French light and medium tanks, (h35 and Somua) were very good. Otherwise, no real surprises.
Anyone else have thoughts ?

Thanks to my team Baloo7777 and Twotribes, and opponents Jeff Bomber and Falco, the British were ok I guess good fighters Hurricanes of course, early tanks not so good almost half the AT of the early Soviet tanks. So it was just down to numbers in the end, and as the factories were so cheap I built loads 20+ so in the end I could afford to lose 50 tanks for the Soviets 10 tanks then the A6 appeared pretty good comparable to the Soviets but also woefully lacking in experience. And as the troops that went to help the Italians on the Parma Front were leaderless as I did not have time or the resources to set up a well manned HQ they performed poorly but in the end it did not matter as numbers, were on the side of the British. The Italians probably would have prevailed over the Japanese without British assistance the Soviets may well have sputtered as they were limited to only a few cities by this time. But it did no harm for the British to deploy to the Italian Japanese and Soviet Front rather than trying to push south with New Union against the Obdurate French, no telling how long that would have taken, and Twotribes had it covered and I had no worries about the Germans. The only concern was the Italians double teamed and as I said they may well have prevailed without assistance.

I noticed that factories are too cheap, it was changed in v0.92. The A9 statistics are pretty close to that of BT-7. Next version will include SFT reliability too, so some notoriously troublesome equipment (like the He-177, Helldiver, T-35 or CharB1) will pay a heavy price in readiness every time they move or take part in combat. Unfortunately, I´m having a hard time to find reliable information on realiability of each equipment. On the Somua S-35, it was much better than contemporary German tanks in armour and fireppower, but it had a one man turret that greatly reduced its effectiveness (not sure on how to implement this, maybe I will decrease combat values). I noticed also that few players used aircraft. The SM-81 and the SM-79 are good bombers for Italy. Japan had a trouble with aircraft in late 1930´s, the best fighter they could field was the Ki-27, their Ki-21 was a good bomber for 1938 but had a too small payload. Another feature to be implemented is that new SFT will appear each 3 months, not each year.
Any suggestions to improve the mod? V1.00 will appear as soon I set the reliability values.

I disagree that factories are to cheap especially on small maps.

"I noticed that factories are too cheap" quote from Bomber the mod designer.
"I disagree that factories are to cheap" quote from Twotribes with his opinion.
"and as the factories were so cheap" quote from Ironduke with his opinion.
Ummm I am going have to agree with Ironduke and Bomber.

Yep the A9 was pretty good but that did not come online until 39 the tank the British start with looked more at home in the Trenches, not a complaint if the British were behind on tank tech then you have to suck it up. It was British artillery that won the day and I turned out a lot of those. Due to the prolific quantity of artillery factories that were built.
Great Mod Bomber thanks.

The forums software seems a bit buggy, I can't quote Bomburs post. But this is intended to be a reply to Bombur.
I agree with the 1/4 ly implementation of new SFT's, that was a comment I was going to make. Another is that I found it a bit strange that we did not have to research anything.
I ended up spending a lot of production early on on PP's intending to spend it on new SFT's in the usual way. Instead I finally and much too late realized that this wasn't going
to happen. I quickly built factories too late in the game to match production rates of my opponents.
Once I figured it out, it was ok but I wasn't expecting it to be that way.

The Italians made good use of their SM-81's and SM-79's, but it was the cheapness of the BR-20's that let us make large groups of bombers with slight fighter support. They seemed to do very well against the soft targets in the desert area of the HREmpire, where battles raged and no quarter was given. [:'(]

Give me three days and I will release v1.00. Then we start a new game. Remember that, under the new version, VP needed to win must be adjusted manually.
