Some changes to Italy's set up.
Headquartered in Torino, Graziani's Army Group hugs the French Alpine frontier. The fleet sits in La Spezia, an infantry division and AAA guard the naval base.
In North Africa, two of the faster units start in Tripoli.

This time we are playing with supply units, which can be useful in the desert.
Will the Italians again try to rescue their assets from East Africa before the British close the Suez canal?

The Italians should be able to start one of the TRANS in Eritrea. That way you can get either the INF or supply unit clear.

German set up.
Von Leeb in the west, and a little more muscle for von Bock in East Prussia and von Rundstedt who is revving his engines on the Polish border between Poznan and Katowice.
This time the Germans broke down a couple of weaker infantry corps to supply some motorized divisions.
Didn't mean to leave that artillery parked in the woods near Leipzig. Oops.
The Kriegsmarine is mostly at Kiel.

A carrier fleet is based at Canton. A second faster carrier fleet is at Truk. The older cruisers and the transports are at Sasebo and Fukuoka.

The supply unit can walk out of the desert into Libya via Sudan once a war. Very hard for the Allies to run it down in the middle of the desert and its always in supply.

AXIS IMPULSE #1 SEPT/OCT 1939
Germany declares war on Poland. The Fuehrer dreamed of it. It must be done.
Japan aligns Siam. US entry roll is 10. The two Siamese cruisers are based at Bangkok.
Japan land
Germany land
Italy combined
The Italian cruiser Taranto hits the 4 box of the Western Med. Aboard is the 1st Infantry Division. It is crowded on the decks.
Il Duce had dreamed that Malta was undefended. But no. It is crowded there too.

Japanese Nell bombers flying out of Canton inflict significant damage on the Chinese Nationalist controlled factories of Kweiyang. Chiang's oil dump is out of range, for now.

Three German attacks in Poland.
Keith tells me he'll choose assault for the cities under attack this impulse.
