Very nice, but can you make the counter body itself transparent showing the underlying terrain?

Should be enough color to enhance the values, but with a certain level of transparency like clouds/precipitation on a radar map so you can see the surface features.

For the PanzerCorps style units it would be great if they were upgraded based on the year!

If Alvaro could make the game code call Units.png after trying to pull Units1939, Units1940, etc. or Units1940S.png or Units1944W.png where S is summer and W is winter.

Another idea for an enhancement would be to have icons within the Units.png for the advancement level for each unit type.

German Armor 1939 = PzII
German Armor 1944 = King Tiger

And can you also design them to cook dinner? [;)]

Thanks for the great mod. It's supported as well as WarPlan, which means great!

That's it Pz Mike but I see there might be a problem with the unit stacking interfering from underneath.

My bad!

True, when stacked air and naval units will show some of the underlying land unit for instance. Not sure if that is a real problem. The partly transparent counters are rather nice I think.

That would mean 12 sets of counters and a ton of work...

True, though it would only use what is available reverting to the base/singe Units.png so mods could start there and then add years and winter later if desired/time permits.

Edit: wonder if the sets could be broken down to the individual counter types. In War in the Pacific: Admiral's Edition individual plane and ship graphics can be created by month/year but if they are not there the base graphic is used. https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=2405660

Again thank you for what you have done with these counter sets!

I really like that transparency feature. Perhaps lose the counter boundary all together and just use the country color shading in the background highlighting the unit size, values and image.

I kind of prefer NATO symbols, at least for the infantry type units, and obviously armored units are always a mix of types so the NATO armor symbol is appropriate.

Still, I sure do like your tank icons as well as the air units and the tech progression images are always an enjoyable addition.
