Game complete: The Land (Axis) vs el Condoro (AllieS)

Axis resignation June 43.

I managed a successful Sealion but misjudged how long it takes to get troops from Scotland to Poland, and messed up the Barbarossa setup as a result - the Soviets DoWed immediately before I was about to attack them. The Eastern Front never recovered, and El C also stalled very effectively in Iraq. If I had been slightly sharper with diplomacy on Turkey or Spain I might have been able to get them in, but no banana for the Axis on this occasion.

That would be fine with me, since not much challengers are left. Not sure if we ever played before tournament days.

Hi Fafnir, we played only once about 2,5 years ago, me as Axis, and I resigned August 1940! This time I hope that I will hold a little longer...
By the way, I was defeated by Gilber in this ELO tournament last year. I think that Gilber will soon be in the top 4 players soon

Game finished, Fafnir (allied) beat me Elveranomaslargo (axis), I resign in August 1940 as there is not way to make any plan to work.

Impressive Fafnir´s game, even when i tried to destroy his defences with his own very agressive strategy, he was able to beat me back everywhere. I dont know how he got most of my sub fleet sunk(i think he was lucky here also), he also stop my plans for Sealion, he made me a big amount of casualties in France and he was surprising me everywhere. My position looked like a grouyere cheese, one country was liberated, many italians cities ocupied... even my plan B after Sealion, to conquer Argel, was not possible to do.

Incredible Fafnir´s game, really creative and depressing for me as no plan was working. Congrats to him

With whis humiliating defeat I finish the row of victories I was getting.
