We inflict one more hit on the "Home" BB group with bombers from Sardinia
before sending the Italian fleet with a German corps. Unfortunately the Vichy fleet fails to interdict.

Off Tobruk Italian bombers score a single hit on the Illustrious, but take 6 step losses.
It's not going to be easy to supply nor reinforce Africa. A single tactical bomber reaches the small
port of Misurata.

With terrible weather in Europe, Axis units move as little as possible.

Yugoslavia builds an infantry army and disbands its interceptor.

Germany builds a paratrooper.

That's a big push on Egypt. Hope you have a lot of trucks...

Turn 31: October 25, 1940

Vichy France surrenders. The UK declares war on Iraq and invades
with an armor corps.

In Egypt the situation is not great of course. A double line of infantry
guards the approaches. But that does of course mean less British presence
elsewhere.

The German stukas based in Misurata sinks the Suffolk CA group off Tripoli.

Italy disbands its heavily depleted tactical bomber.

In Algeria Italian bombers score two hits on the United SS group.
The Fiume CA group takes one hit from British bombers as it escorts
a German corps to Bone.

Germany builds a paratrooper and two air transports. This is top secret and no hints must be given to SillyFlower!
I cannot stress this enough, even the slightest hint might reduce our plans to nothing.

Italy builds a small corps. Italian fleet repairs are proving costly for its weak economy. We'd rather builds mountain corps.

Yugoslavia builds an infantry army.

Turn 32, November 8, 1940

Iraq surrenders.
Germany gets Interceptors 42.
Italy gets Assault and Warships 41.
Italian BB Guilio Cesare takes a step damage from bombers.

In Algeria we bring in the Italian Alpine corps, but the Guilio Cesare suffers
another two hits.

Note how the British are bringing in reinforcements.

In Egypt the Allies take up offensive positions, and we pull back to better supply.
In another big mistake, a reinforcing Italian corps is sunk by the carrier Glorious.
Paratroopers are being shipped back to the mainland.

The British leave Bordeaux, and we control all the Atlantic ports.

Germany builds 60 landing ships and 30 supply trucks.

Turn 33: November 22, 1940

Romania joins the Axis. Germany gets Assault 41 tech.

Our u-boats were at sea again, sinking 3 merchants but taking 2 step losses. Not a good trade.

We continue our retreat from Egypt, so far the Allies are cautious and not pursuing.

The situation in Algeria is fairly static. And the Royal Navy is blockading just about
every port in Africa.

We keep moving forces east to prepare for war against our arch-enemy.

Turn 34: December 6, 1940

Hungary joins the Axis. The UK declares war on Persia.
Germany gets Close Support 41, Italy gets close support 40.

The British advance in Algeria, putting us out of supply momentarily.
Off Gabes in Tunisia, German bombers score 2 hits on the lone London CA group,
but in return it scores 2 hits on Italian submarines that try to attack it.

In Egypt we've mostly evacuated.

Turn 35: December 20, 1940

It's a rather quiet turn.

It rains in the Atlantic so the German fleet heads out to sea. We want to move it to an Atlantic port.

It also rains in Algiers and there is no action. Reinforcements arrive in Tunisia, we'll set up a decent
defense or even attack here.

Two German and on Italian corps hold Tobruk. The Allies may very well attack next turn.

Hungary disbands its air force and builds a small corps. Romania does the same.
Germany builds 30 supply trucks.

Turn 36: January 3, 1941

Another fairly quiet turn. The Allies are advancing very cautiously in Egypt.

Axis forces seize Tunis without any difficulty. A British fighter in Algeria renders
the Italian bombers there ineffective. Those bombers are set to do not repair/upgrade.

In Persia the WDF doesn't take Tehran and strangely enough seems to retreat? Not sure what his plans are.

The Italian economy is not doing great. There are still several ships to repair. The idea of having an
air force is abandoned (there are still 2 long range bombers active).

The Yugoslavian economy is doing great. They build another infantry army.

The German economy is doing OK, they build a ground attack group which will arrive in early May.

The German fleet makes it to Bordeaux. It will soon raid in the Atlantic. We really want to
get it to tech level 42 for the all important anti-air upgrade.

More troops arrive on the Soviet border.

Turn 37: January 17, 1941

U-boats sink 3 merchants but take 2 steps losses. Now I remember why I
don't like wasting resources on u-boats. We send out the entire German
fleet to raid in their place.

In Africa things are at a standstill. A few Allied units move back towards Egypt.

More troops move to the Soviet border. Germany builds a ground attack group.

I've been wondering about Bone in Algeria. Apparently it is called Annaba. I'd never head of it before.
