Not much to show in India as I've lost on MPP through the decision not to declare war. I've concentrated a lot of what I have on research and so only currently have 3 corps in the field with Japan in the war......

I need to plan better in this game. I spent a lot of MPP on an HQ and didn't check the Indians get one for free shortly..... [8|]

The Chinese army group boundaries are not shown as these need sorting out. The addition of Stilwell allows for some movement of the HQ, although Feng's isolation from Peng hasn't helped matters.


Note the second Nationalist commander from the top is Peng not Feng

The Soviet's are in something of a leaderless pickle.... The defenders of Bryansk were swiftly overcome and now the full weight of the panzer force has moved its unwelcome weight in the direction of the Soviet capital.

In the Mediterranean the British need to kick on as I suspect its only Italian forces in Libya.

In East Africa the Italians are almost wiped out. I need to decide what to send north to Libya and what to perhaps send to Iraq and/or India

There is little I can do in China. I have nothing on the production track but decide to research advanced fighters for the future.

I move Mao's forces into the line to try and put some pressure on the Japanese. I also, imprudently, push XLII Corps east on a scouting mission. The Japanese may react unkindly to this....

In the Soviet Union there is nothing to do but reinforce what I can and wait. There are no more corps to build and no reinforcing units coming anytime soon....

I get some partisans who come upon an air park! Let's hope the Germans don't have too many units close by.

The USN gets a break in the South Pacific. The 3rd Submarine Flotilla was handily placed to intercept a Japanese invasion force heading for Rabaul.

I am pleased to report to Nimitz that the Japanese have suffered their first losses of the war....

Elsewhere this turn, the German resistance south of Narvik was ended, but the Italian resistance in East Africa continues.

The Allied income remains healthy as there is little to no attempt at attacking trade at the moment. The British spending on third party items eats into their income however.

The Japanese take out 41st Army somehow using just aircraft and (I think) one land unit. I have to divert Mao's forces south to plug the gap that has opened up.

The Germans panzers expend energy trying to destroy an engineer that had just built a fort. I replace the engineer with an anti-tank unit, although the engineer on its left flank fails to complete its task and is in trouble next turn.

To the south, the gatekeepers of the Crimea continue to hold out - although it was close this time despite the weather (picture taken after reinforcement). But the Axis infantry continue to push east....

It appears the Germans are not interested in giving up Norway... the panzers arrive. Aircraft too. HMS Illustrious is attacked and badly hit. The RAF are ordered to Norway and the RN withdraw offshore.

The Japanese ramp up the pressure, taking numerous island and now pressuring Burma....

China is relatively quiet, but the Communists make their presence felt, dishing out some pain to the Japanese 12th Army.
