Redjohn is playing a good game. Cutting off the German advance, punishing the PZs and pressuring the Germans well. What his opponent will do or wont do is setting the stage of Redjohn fine movements

I believe AAR like this one are needed because they will bring changes helpful to the good health of the game.
I myself for now I've 100% Victory rate with Soviets (1 game bagged, 1 ongoing), and pratically 90% defeat rate with Germans in previous patches. MP games, that's it.
And I try to play 'historical' or at least fighting in general otherwise I feel I am cheating the system.
So I am looking forward to see how the Soviets operate and outdo the German here as well.

I forgot to mention, I ended the turn. Forgot to take oob also!
Anyway turn 9 starting. Movement at centre to isolate some units, and the cavalry is re-encircled.

We free some of our cavalry, the majority anyway.

And just to be clear, almost your entire army is at full MPs and green supply with everything set on priority 4, correct?

OOB has stagnated recently owing to vigorous German grinding. Their AFVs have dipped below 3000 though, and are trending ever downwards.
I end the turn.

Yessir. It's cost me 293 trucks, if trucks lost = total freight losses (or 129 trucks if trucks lost = trucks lost in freight and that's the overall number)
Some units aren't too hot on supply, but the vast majority are.

Turn 10! Our cavalry are in a very sticky situation, and I'm not sure if I can save them. But I will damn well try!
Centre pocket can and will be broken easily, so there's no worry there. More grinding at Leningrad too.

Sadly they hold. Many AFVs lost for NOTHING!
RIP to our cavalry. They did good.

We deployed our first sizeable infantry commitment (besides the 10 for rostov) to Stalino this turn. Roughly 100,000 men.
End of turn. OOB Remains stagnant owing to recent losses.

I also pull from our TBs - apparently they'd somehow gotten pretty beefy in terms of %. I drained all of Transcaucasus's mountaineers, all of the Japanese border's tanks/mech (only 3 units), it's 2 mountaineers, and all of the mountain cavalry/cavalry I could get my hands on whilst still keeping ground requirement at 100.

Turn 11. Centre pocket is reformed once again, and Kharkov is surrounded. I shall try to break out both!

Unfortunately both held, 1.4:1 odds on the Kharkov and a hold at range from Rokossovosky that still cost 105 AFVs. Sad setbacks.
