If case any of you are in south west England did you know there was a Devon Wargames Group that meets every month in Exeter.

It is down near The Jurassic Coast and most of them seem to be dinosaurs like me.

I haven't been but came across it by one of those odd coincidences - I saw a battle cross marked "Bindon 614" in The Times Atlas of World History.

As Bindon is about a mile from where I write this I looked it up and low and behold:

On re-reading I see I wasn't clear in my post. I meant I haven't been to the Devon wargames group meetings rather than I haven't been to the Bindon battle site. Sorry.

I think the links I gave should give you someone to contact there (JW ?). I think they meet the second Saturday of each month at a hall about a mile from the centre of Exeter.

South west England club also good. Seljuk flag is interesting and the Red Army formed because of Czech Legion.
