I tried my hand at making an authentic looking Panzer II. It took me about 6 hours to complete. Ideally, I'd like to create people specific vehicles. But it's going to require a LOT of time.

It is nice though

Looks very well crafted.

Thanks. I just finished a PZ III also. Another 6 hours. Yikes. Multiply that by 14 and then by the number of different vehicle types.
The only thing I'm really having trouble with is fine details, like gear stowed around the tank and stuff. It would probably take me another couple of hours to put all the extra details on, if I didn't just keep them clean and generic.

Hope I haven't bitten off more than I can chew. A 5 hour project this time.

This one cost me 14 hours. Sherman tank. Getting the shape of the turret right was the hardest part. Vehicles with fewer rounded corners shouldn't take nearly that long.
I wasn't sure how to go about getting the shape I wanted for the turret, but after a number of tries, I think I came up with a good solution for future tanks. Hopefully, no more 14 hour projects in the future. Fingers crossed.
I'm slowly building up a collection of vehicles for country specific subfomration graphics. Just for fun I'll post new models as I make them in this thread. Later, when I've gotten a complete pack of graphics completed, I'll post the game files in the other thread.

M26 Pershing for going up against the Tiger. Only took 5 hours too--record time for me.

Thanks. They take a little while to make but it feels good when they end up looking like the vehicles they're supposed to look like.

Got my IS-2 done. Now I need to make the T-34 for my Russian trio of tanks.
