Meanwhile, this is a pretty unique game so I have a question:

I have 400k armaments and 450k HI. I am in no danger of running out if supply (I have 8 million), but this may be the first game in WITP AE where HI could indeed run out while the rest of the economy is doing great. Is 400k armaments enough for February 1944? Can I shut it down to save HI?

Did you get your major Home Island reinforcements yet? If not and you turn off the armaments then they might not have weaponry. Also, if you are going to have some major combats coming then your units might run out of replacements.

OK, so let's look at this. What is HI for? to produce stuff like ARM/VEH/AC/NSY/MSY, right? And ARM/VEH are for LCU's, AC is AC, and NSY/MSY for ships.

So, my answer isn't what you can shutdown, but rather what are the run rates of all of those others and can they be better balanced. As for how much ARM you will need for Feb44, go to tracker.

The Delay A Pts column gives you the Armament pts that will be used for those incoming units. Filter for the dates you want. Easiest is to export this as csv and then use excel to filter and total. Remember though that you are no doubt using a LOT of ARM pts for replacements ... you need to account for that as well.

That's helpful thanks. Looks like my armamanets are more than enough to cover future units and current replacement needs. I will though have to factor in the potential for increased losses in the years ahead.

Your welcome. And yes, I suspect that your "potential for increased losses in the years ahead" is quite real.
