I think it's great what you've accomplished in this invasion, shows real fighting spirit. Many good players think you should never make an attack unless it's + 8 minimum. I think that's hogwash. One has to judge risk vs reward of the attack.

They seemed highly likely to happen as soon as the Northern army group broke thru and headed South. It's really a question of style what one does when a power is doomed. You chose to go out attacking. I probably would have chosen to defend to the last man, but who knows which is better...
