On the Italian controlled hexes in France. If Italy did capture those hexes before Vichy was declared, those hexes will stay Italian and are not given to Germany when Vichy was declared:

Italy rebases fighter from Northern Italy to France and Fighter from Sicily to Northern Italy.

CW does all the usual escort moves. CV's shuttle between Liverpool and Gib. II Inf moves to Greece. Sydney Mil moves to Singapore. A CA task force moves to East Med 4-box.

3 areas for Naval Combat: Cape St Vincent (declined), Nth Atlantic (declined), East Med (initiated). Do the Italians wish to commit their sub?

On the basis that if the search rolls go right for them, the Italians would be able to force a sub combat, I'll say yes (I forgot about that until after I announced the combat).

It doesn't matter. Rolls of Allies 7, Axis 10 draw a blank.

The retreat in China continues. USSR juggles a couple of units around.

Edit: CA Belfast will be Axis target #1. Not because of she is the best, but because of propaganda value.

I was tempted to hurt CA's in box 4, but after this I have 30% chance to get +9 attack to Athens. (If I recall right, Athens will not provide supply to CW units if there are no CP's in sea.)

How does CW choose targets?

1st X to Greek CL. If it survives it can take 2nd X. If not, 2nd X to Yugoslav CL. If CL survives, then 1st abort, otherwise aborts to Greek CA.
