Germans and their allies take some losses (4 units). Very unfortunate for those in the Middle East around that oil. The Germans should be able to move some more units down there to protect the gulf and perhaps even take Kuwait away from the CW.

Is there even anywhere the Allies can send aid to the Russians? The south is closed off. No dice in the Pacific and the north is isolated away from the factories that survived.

Two build points per turn can go to Murmansk each turn and in the Summer another 2 can be send to Archangel. That's to say: for as long as Germany decides not to take out those ports and the Allies have the convoys to spare to send those build points over.

Because the notional unit on Melville Island is easier to kill:

Mainland Australia: 1 (standard value) + 1 (Home Country) = 2.
Melville Island: 1 (standard value) + 1 (Home Country) - 1 (Out of supply) = 1.

Next turn, the Japanese Marine will simply walk to Darwin, capturing the port...

It's always easier to get ashore at a island on the coast of a home country as compared to the home country itself, when you are able to cut supply to such an island (which is impossible to do with a hex in a home country).

Ah, the inherent shallow-water movement ability of the marine units. I had forgotten about that.

It is not advisable for the US to use the “Monroe doctrine” strategy and gobble up all South American nations for the resources in those nations. Every DoW by the Allies on a South American nation makes the US lose a victory point. To attack Argentina (to grab Buenos Aires) is the only exception (since Buenos Aires is the only victory hex in South America which the US can get out of a DoW). This would mean the build up of forces in Brazil. The Brazilians however, are needed in Morocco, since the US hasn't got a large army of their own at the moment. Somehow, the US and the CW needs to divert German and Italian units out of the USSR towards other places and building up an attack force in South America is counterproductive.

France takes a pass action. The US, USSR and the CW take land actions.

In Morocco the Allies slowly move northward. However, they lack the necessary airforce to really advance and attack the Axis positions.

CW forces enter Asmara and Berbera. Fast infantry moves into Anglo-Egyptian Sudan towards Khartoum.

Yeremenko gets railed towards Kazan. The Soviet Para is railed into Chita. Eastern Siberia will be emptied of Soviet troops. The last Soviet unit still in Manchuria moves further towards the West. Large columns of Soviet tanks are moving east towards Kazan:

Here is Manchuria. Apart from the units in the pictures, the USSR has a CAV in Irkutsk, 2 MIL and an AA gun in Leningrad, a GAR in Murmansk and a GAR in Archangel.

Germany rails a MECH to Cadiz out of Germany and an INF out of the USSR to Sevilla. An Italian Para gets railed out of the USSR to Spain too.

Badoglio enters Bandar Shapur. Balbo starts moving towards Ashqabad. It will take a while, but ultimately, the Soviets need to defend the border with Persia too...

The Japanese capture Blagoyeshchensk and Umezu moves further west. Darwin is captured by Japanese marines, after which Yamashita is unloaded at the port there.
