I get texts from the wife all the time like this - how do I change the AC setting, my cell phone/computer/iPad isn't working right, the [thing] is making a funny noise, my car is doing [something she thinks it shouldn't], etc. I was a tanker, so I was trained to break things and blow them up as well. I can be in the middle of meetings, etc., and I get buzzed all the time with text messages - "call me because..." Grump.

You should limit your purported expertise in said subject matter. If your reply to all queries was, "Gee, I dunno. If I ran it over with a 63 ton MBT, would that help? If not, that's all I got."
