The ground assault on Manila didn't go as badly as I was expecting. The fortifications are reduced to one and the stage is set for
another DA tomorrow. Maybe the assault is really moving again.

I did a bombardment attack in Java but now my guys are out of supplies and they need to rest a bit.

And then the Allies do their daily ground bombardment of Port Moresby:

Some random thoughts about some of the high-traffic areas:

TF 37 is just one of the several TF's at Ocean Island that I'm going to have to move to someplace else to look for resources. OI has just
about dried up for a while. There's some resources at Kendari which would pay for a trip there but not much else. Japan is running out
of good resource centers that have resources available. Sapporo is one of them. But there's a lot more that are drying up. I may have
to put the war on hold.

TF 31 is a polyglut mix of almost every kind of transport that you can put together and I'm sending them to Shikuka for ressources.
Shikuka has about 142K still so it's almost okay as a source, the problem w/ it is that it's one of those one-shot deals. Once they are
gone from Shikuka they are gone. D'oh. But I'm hoping to find some more sources shortly.

Here's the next problem I'm working on. I have this TF 52 on the north coast of Eastern Japan and I want to use them to be part of the
TF that moves the 14th Div to somewhere to be determined. They are still unloading and I expect them to be empty in one more day at
the port but the 14th Div is getting closer to Port Arthur all the time so I'm thinking I might not be able to get one more run for resources
out of them......I'd better get them headed to Port Arthur as soon as they become empty. Anybody have a better idea? I'm all ears.

I have gathered all the expensive ships into one that has some ASW just in case that(those) Allied sub(s) decides to to invade the Wake
port. The port isn't yet sub-proof and Jim has been known to drive his subs right into the harbor. This is a good reminder to me to put
some mines at Wake to prevent sub intrusion(s).

This is me turning off the Refinery at Palembang because of the pile up of an enormous amount of fuel. All I gotta do it haul it out of
there. And all the TK's are busy hauling oil around. I'll have to use the AK's to haul fuel. No problem.

The 10th Garrison Unit is leaving Nagoya bound for Merek in Java. I'm hoping the additional troops will put the advance back on track.
If I can ever save up enough PP's I'll add to the boots on the ground there.

TF 284 finally finished loading and now I'm sending them to location code named Pesky Doors, which is waiting patiently for a new load of
supplies. Also fuel.

I've received Jim's moves, watched the movie and hare is some fresh combat results. Here's the losses for the day

There were some night air attacks on Darwin and then there was this night naval bombardment of Port Moresby:

And I lost a picket ship. I'm going to replace the sunk ship w/ a sub so it'll last longer next time.

And then my Oscars sweep Singers:

And then Port Moresby sees another Jap air attack. Light casualties but it's better than nothing at all.
