So the pre-drywall meeting went great today. We had to pick out a slightly different color of flooring as our previous choice was discontinued. That's what we get for making our selections and signing our contract 11 months ago. [:D]
On the plus side, the agent told us today that our model of home right around the corner just went under contract for $90k more than we are paying, and we have an acre more land than they do. It's been a long wait, but we really got under contract at a good time! Closing is pretty firmly scheduled for November 29th. [8D]

Thanks, but my rant was the result of some bad times and a covid scare (for me anyway) with my gradnson. In retrospect I just should have taken a step back and collected myself. I'm sadly past the point of having faith in people.[:(]
