JJ is evidently trying to sneak something through the Formosa Straits. Maybe troops being withdrawn from somewhere in the DEI? AK's with oil? Misidentification? Even though we could perhaps hit them from Batan, the number of fighters on Formosa means it would probably go badly for us.
Anyone think PBY's or medium bombers on night attack would hit anything? Of course, we will send in subs.

Does anyone else find sub patrol plotting tedious? I sent some US subs to the Bay of Bengal so I don't have to worry about them [:)]
How cool would Engrish ranguage text commands be? "Subron 3 to patrol the East China Sea West of Tokara Retto."
"Tokara Retto" sounds like some kind of pasta dish. USN submarine home basing migrating from Midway to Manado to reduce transit times and increase time on station. Manado is now a level 5 port with good naval support.
Carriers (Wasp and Yorktown) have disbanded at Manado to rejuvenate the air groups. We are starting to get the SBD-5's but there are no replacement SBD's. Sea Bees and AA unit are loading at Manado for Horycrappo-jima. A bn. of infantry and CD guns are loading at Cagayan. Amphibious landing at Horycrappo-jima in about 7-8d.
1st Marine Para Bn flying in to Batan Is. They will take Horycrappo-jima the day before the landing.
Allow 3 weeks to get to level 5....first air raid on the home islands will be about a year before the D-Day landings in Europe. [:)]

Many thanks Capt'n. She is quite a sight, worthy of a staff position in this mans war even it means a SNAFU for the boys up front. Sometimes the staff comes first (no pun intended). Please carry on in the manner you are accustomed.

My votes for 12919.[8D]
Would it be possible to delay bombing, landing, and otherwise screwing around with emperors stuff so much for awhile? I've gotten used to the war now and would surely miss it over morning Java should it come to a premature end. Perhaps you could fire bomb some of Stalin's stuff.

Luzon: We hit San Fernando with the B-24's against no CAP. Things blow up but not any planes. JJ has nothing at San Fernando but we needed to take out the airfield to be done with this whack-a-mole move the air groups around business.
Two ineffectual WJD air raids on shipping at Iba and Vigan. Just Idas. We deal with them.
A bunch of raids over Aparri do not go off, probably the weather.

Is Chokai sauce more like pesto or is it one of those heavy cream things? I'm trying to eat better. Of course, 2 nights ago I did drip the fat drippings from the rib eyes back on top of the steaks. Hory crap! That-ah rearry get Neanderthal genes working.
Had some of this too. Fantastic
