The new AAA Battalion organization consisted of 16 x 90mm AA Gun, 12 x 40mm AA Gun, 12 x 20mm AA Gun, and 12 x Searchlights per AAA Battalion.
3) The 16th – 18th, and 51st – 52nd Defense Battalions were not engaged in combat.

1) The 1st Armored Amphibian Tractor Battalion was activated on 8/20/43, and served as a IIIAC unit.

3) The 3rd Armored Amphibian Tractor Battalion was activated on 7/13/44 in the Russell Islands, and served as a IIIAC unit until 8/1/45, when it was converted to the 20th Amphibian Truck Battalion.
