ELO game ended:
Axis (Laurenz) resigns vs. Pekkavilamoura (Allies).
Well in fact Laurenz did not officially resign but it's now more than 2 weeks that I played my last round and still waiting...
It just doesn't make any sense playing with such delays, you don't even remember what your plan was (if you had one

).
So I quit the game. If anybody disagrees, fine with me.

ELO game ended:
taffjones (Axis loss) vs. Pekkavilamoura (Allies win).
Japanese offensive got stuck and when they lost Wuhan they had to bring reinforcements to China which was not favourable for the further Imperial expansion campaign. So Axis resigned in May 1942.
New ELO started:
taffjones (Axis) vs. Pekkavilamoura (Allies) rematch

ELO game ended.
John B. (Allies won) v. EarlyDoors (Axis lost).
The Allies won in December 1944. The Axis were hurt by the minor allies never joining the Germans because France did not go Vichy and then never fell. The Japanese had to be dug out hex by hex before surrendering.

ELO game ends:
[LOSS] ElvisJJonesRambo (Allies) vs Archmache (Axis) --- Russia held Dnieper River line until early 1943, which is an incredible feat. Too bad Leningrad folded

Nazis brought heavy forces into Finland. While my engineers built fortresses in Southern river, Army Group North bashed Northern cities. Eventually in 1943, the entire Russian defense was a mess. Crushed in Russia. That certainly didn't work.
Chinese got battered, but held on.
Americans and British were an embarrassment. Due to initial success in Russian, the Western Allies were too cautious. Building up an Industrial Complex, w/o clear goals. Patton always does his duty, in North Africa, but only went halfway. With sudden collapse in Russia, the Allies were dashing into crazy positions that were waxed by level 3 Panzers. Tried reverse Anzio from the Adriatic. Southern France landed, got trashed. Well, I was holding the position, but filling Yankee bodybags. Was going to land in Normandy, but the Winter of 1943, the weather sucked,
Wouldn't have mattered, Russians had no line, save Dnieper for awhile. Moscow civilians were being rounded up and in Leningrad.
The Pacific effort was stalled. Japanese laid back, in ports around Taiwan. All the Maritime Bombers and Zereos and Carriers were willing to give me outlining islands, including DEI, but was stubborn defense. Well done. Due to disaster of Russia, Marines went transports Kamikaze.
Allies surrender end of 1943.

Archmache (Axis) Won vs Firsteds (Allies) Defeat
Best Axis game I've ever played. Steamrolled France, Turkey felt the hype, took Caucasus Oil. Bush was jealous - my invasion of Irag, Iran, and India went flawlessly - German Panzers rolling through China in Jan 1, 1945. UK NM was at 12%.
Allies tried two different d-days and were smacked back to London. Churchill had flashbacks of Gallipoli, but they say war is good for re-election so I guess he got what he wanted ...
Felt good to beat Firsteds as he had beat me 2x prior to this.

Hey, I told you I was going on holidays for 2+ weeks and I would not be able to play. I am fine with you not wanting to continue to play, but this game was not decided. I was really looking forward to sinking the rest of your carrier-less your US Navy

.
Lets call it a draw, and I am open for a reamatch anytime.

As said a PM before your holiday would have been better, but whatever, I'm fine with calling it a draw. I just want to play regularly and definitely not claim victories for games I am far from winning.

Game concluded
HarrySmith (Allies) wins against Old_Shane ( Axis)
May 42.
China hit Japanese hard at the start and they where always in catch up after that with it affecting preparations for Allied entry.
Germany chose to not accept Vichy and got bogged down in Algiers after UK support. This caused the Axis minors not to enter along with Finland out through Diplomatic investment by Allies. This caused Barbarossa to be delayed and it got bogged down early. Algiers was taken early 42 but by then the delay cost the axis. The axis held their own in ME and the horn of Africa and made some gains. Without the Axis able to make any gains we felt it better to end the game. A good opponent who hopefully learnt a few things to help his game as I did too. Turn rates where daily.

ELO game ended:
Kaigab (Axis) vs. Pekkavilamoura (Allies). Kaigab (Axis) wins.
Good game. Axis went for Russia ignoring NA. Japan conquered Burma and usual contries, but was stuck in China. Major sea battle in Pacific had both JPN and Allies lose most of their Carriers. But without Carriers it is hard for allies to invade as Maritime Bombers are effective.
Allies tried DDay in '43 but at that time Leningrad, Stalingrad and Moscow already fell and Perma about to be taken.
Good player with good rate of turns.

Yes, good game. A more seasoned player than myself would probably have taken advantage of Axis ignoring Africa by making a '42 landing in Italy or even France but I was not prepared yet and went for early Overlord in '43, but at that time it was already too late to help Russia from falling.
Japan relied heavily on supreme air power with long range aircraft and maritime bombers, made it difficult to close in.

Game ended, Axis win
[WIN] ElvisJJonesRambo (Axis) vs snooky51(Allies) --- Allies didn't invest in Technology enough, instead going for units. This strategy worked, for little while. Once the big momentum (Axis) in 1942, is was steamroll time. Naval battles were significant too, Kriegsmarine and IJN performed well, which always enhances Axis position.
