I use Trip Advisor, you get reviews in advance and can give them a bad review to warn others.
(But like gaming reviews you have to watch out for false reviews)

The hotel had 3,5 out of 5 points on trip advisor. You won't find a 4+ hotel in Miami beach below 250 bucks per night... [:o]

But 25 terrible & 24 poor ratings, I just did a trip of New Zealand and managed to avoid places like this.

I think Torsten was a little too optimistic about it.

I also use Wotif, plenty of Motels in Miami under USD$250.

(Bening an anal planner I do so much research before I travel, to a point where I dont need directions, Its very sad!)

Steve, Lou's squirrels have broken their diet again.

With the diet Lou's been on , the squirrel is taking it's life in it's paws. Lou would chase it down and mug it for a snickers bar right now![:D] A chocoholic going cold turkey for several months is a SCAREY sight! [:D]

There's no big difference in looks between a cockroach and palmetto bug. The really big difference is a palmetto bug can fly. An above view of a Palmetto Bug.
