Well, at least the weather has warmed a bit. It's been gloriously warm here this week. Several days with highs in the 30s (F) for goodness sake! We *almost* thawed briefly one day. Wonder if the weather's broken in the EU.

A sink hole? Does this happen often in Florida? I guess it's to be expected when your whole state is basically a big chunk o' limestone...

Actually Florida is a big chunk of fossilized gator poo.

Sink holes happen often when the conditions are right. The conditions are right. Several have opened up around the state.

Well, strictly speaking, we've had temps just around freezing for the past three or four days, but "luckily" the wind's picked up...[:@]

Midnight for Simon, just before 1AM for me. And I AM going to bed....[>:][>:][>:][>:]

Reading about life aboard a US Coast Guard Lightship. Never thought about it but when fog is around and the foghorn is going for hours/days the crew gets blasted. Plus when the weather turns bad you can't just run into port like most sane crews would. Hell of a life.[X(]

Just finished watching A Pox on Your Lips and am now about to rack out.
