Last shot for today is a view of the kitchen cabinets where the gas cooktop and overhead microwave will be. The counter top will extend to the left and turn 90 degrees to the stove and microwave for a 3 seat breakfast bar.

BTW, you like the "old kitchen" look?

My wife prefers the modern sleek style (all white with silver handles - but work areas are gray/black)...

Hi Leo, yes, both of us prefer the more traditional style rather than ultra modern. The counter tops in the kitchen will be a darker colored granite and there will be a lighter colored brick style tile back splash on the lower wall here and on the other side of the kitchen around the sink.

Hey Mike, just a quick update on the turn. I'm still making slow progress issuing all my orders. Been pretty busy with work this week, even in the evenings, but should have it back to you by the weekend. [:)]

Take your time, Mike. Make sure and have a few beers before every session though. Works wonders. [;)]
Just got back from our vacation yesterday. Trying to get back to reality. But, retired reality is not much different from being on vacation, to be honest. The week is 6 Saturdays and a Sunday. [:D]
