I am developing the suspicion that Allied target planning drives sigint.

We had to watch Pocahantas Girl's house on Friday. It seems her new boyfriend, who is a bail bond detective, had two guys with cheap jackets and guns show up at his place and ask the neighbors questions. The story is that he is looking for a guy who jumped a $2M bond. [:D][:D] That sounds a bit far-fetched to me.

More likely it is PG's ex's private eyes.

She went to a hotel for the night. Nothing happened except SG ran right over a skunk but didn't kill it. The poor thing sprayed a Camry oil pan and had quite a story to tell in skunk language.

SG's youngest adoptive daughter is tremendously interested in bartending. She's only 8 but already knows what a "shot glass" is. She found a martini shaker downstairs and it was like Christmas. I bought the martini shaker for my partner at work before he told me he doesn't drink. I kept it. He doesn't even celebrate Christmas. He's Jewish, but he has a Christian-sounding name, unlike Saul the Mexican gardener who has a real lawnmower and apparently had some kind of intimate experience with PG. Go figure.

I just realized the cheapest way to free up some ground troops is to convert the Hawaii Command flagged troops on Oahu (4 regiments of 24th and 25th ID) to Pacific Ocean Areas HQ. The full Dvisions can't reform because they both have a regiment at Iba. I started them prepping for Sakhalin Is. They will be ready in 24 days. With the separate infantry regiments in NorthPac that makes potentially 7 regiments of Infantry for landing at Shikuka. Almost certainly, that is enough. Pretty sure we don't even have enough AP's for that. Shimushiri-jima has only 2 Bn of infantry and some combat engineers prepped but that is probably enough to defeat the construction guys there in winterized diapers.

Omentum-jima has probably enough Canadians prepped to take the place but they are all still restricted and we won't have enough PP's to free them all up. 18th Canadian Br. is green and understrength.

..No current plans to invade Santa Ana.

The inscrutable WJD commanders are using FOW (the concept - not me) to deceive you - they are probably using Daito Shoto as a way point for those transport TFs before heading to the real destination. As you say there is no reason to put 2 HQs on an atoll leaving no room for combat troops.
Now you could really screw with their nefarious plans by landing and capturing that atoll to throw their convoy system into disarray [:D]

Orchid Island (right offshore from Formosa): Several Betty raids on our landing craft headed for Karenko are shot up by our CAP...and then we take the place by air assault to build a fighter strip.
