Ahhh...perhaps a convention would be in order...I recently invested in the cardboard and paper version of this beast...currently creating room in the garage to play it.

Yep, down here now, on the Eastern Shore, in Fairhope. Hooked up with TomLabel up in Birmingham a while ago and am trying to get out to Carolina so I can annoy and irritate Mike [;)] (owe him a dinner over the Army/Navy game). TN ain't that far away.

Any of you Aussies that can confirm, I sure would appreciate it. I’ll stuff it up his snot-nosed Falmouth Foreside, ‘my ancestors were Pilgrims’ brookie. We’re 46 : 2 on the charts, and I’ll let you guess who’s got the 46.
I will always appreciate "Terrible Ted" for the way he thumbed his nose at the snotty NY yachtie crowd, especially after I spent a summer working for some of that crowd sailing out of the Hamptons. Then again, I have some roots in Georgia so you might discount my opinion on the matter...

The good news is that it's my Friday and a half day at that. Looking at a 4.5 day weekend starting around lunch today. [8D]
Now, if only I had a turn to keep me out of trouble. [;)]

I didn't get the job I interviewed for last week. Apparently they changed the job spec after they interviewed me to more closely suit an internal candidate. So that was nice.

Well that sucks. Sorry to hear that.
I was talking to someone from a large , multinational package moving company just this weekend about that very issue. He was complaining about how difficult it was at times to promote certain people from within. He said that they would often end up with very narrowly drawn job descriptions in order to do so.

Ah yes, the "internal candidate" paper-over faux 'process'. Sorry about that, mate. Well, was it at least a nice hotel they put you up in?
