It's the elderly that fall prey to these scams disproportionately. Speaking of which, I wonder if Steve has that $20 he owes me. [;)]

You can send it to me. Send it along with your password and I'll bollocks it up for you before sending to AW1Steve and Comrade Red Mouse.

Did anyone else here contribute?

Good morning thread dudes.
My niece was convinced I slept enough. So she turned the music on very loud and stood before my bedroom shouting "uncle! uncle! uncle!"
[:-]
So you're home then? Home sweet home! [:D]
I'm at my sister's place in Brooklyn.

We play the same set of random numbers for each drawing over 13 weeks. 1 trip to the store to buy the ticket, then one trip to cash it in. [:D]

I don't play powerball because it is a $2 ticket. About fifteen times a year I will put $1 into a MegaMillions ticket if the jackpot is high enough. It's cheap therapy when other issues keep me up at night (rather than worry about issues I can't control anyway, I'll force myself to think about what I'd do if that $1 actually paid off).

Yeah-that's why I play too. It's a cheap fantasy.
I've no rational basis for thinking I'll win and agree with those that say that the lottery is a tax on those that are bad at math. [;)]

Ditto here. We used to play for kicks in NY but never won more than $2. The WU actually has better luck on slot machines (not surprising, really since the odds are significantly better). I have no luck at all. [:D]

That 'ping' may be a while in coming, Comrade Red Mouse. Our mutual friend seems to have contracted Ebola or Bubonic / Pneumonic plague from the base hospital. He's incommunicado for the moment, and likely at a laboratory at an 'undisclosed location' getting worked up.

No . I went in for a RX refill. And being a military facilty , that means waiting most of the day for a two minute talk with the new doctor. And for the Pharmacy to fill the RX. But that means the better part of the day exposed to coughing, snorting, snotting bipedal little mobile germ factories (sick kids) which will generally render any semi healthy (non-parent) into a terminal state with hours. [:(]
I've been very busy. CB's just waiting for his turn. (He's been home sick , due to said mobile germ factories). [:D]

... and you shouted back 'uncle! uncle UNCLE!'
(do you know this is a word we use in English to denote "surrender and please desist" in a match of physical prowess, usually arm wrestled or other semi-friendly activities?)
I didn't know.
I turned over and hoped for it to end. But "old McDonald had a farm" was way too loud to endure while trying to fall asleep again. [:-]
