Coordinated with CARDIV4 strikes, our 25th Air Flotilla assets have launched several waves against Ndeni Island:

26 A6M2 in a sweep mission dogfighted with 6 F4F3 and 14 P-40E. 4 A6M2 were lost vs 1 P-40 downed by our pilots.
In an uncoordinated strike (fighters lost contact with level bombers !), 66 unescorted G4M1 were intercepted over Ndeni by 4 F4F3 and 9 P-40E. 7 G4M1 were downed. 3 airbase, 1 airbase supply and 32 runway hits were reported.

17 enemy B-17E strike Lae. 2 runway hits reported. No damages.

Over Gilberts, 24th Air flotilla reported air strikes over enemy targets at Tabiteuea:

- 7 A6M3 dogfighted over Tabiteuea with 6 enemy P39D. 1 P-39 was downed.
- 9 A6M2 escorting 4 B5N2 dogfighted with 1 P-39D over the same island. 1 P-39D was downed. Our torpedo-bombers attacked DD CASE off Tabiteuea with no hits reported.

Like planned, CARDIV3 carriers got launching position to strike Vanikoro Island. With total surprise our aircrafts take off from 2 of our carriers with all assets available in the other two in reserve to strike any surface/carrier threat in the area.

- 27 D3A1, 33 B5N2 escorted by 38 A6M2 take off to strike Vanikoro Island and report 11 casualties, 4 airbase, 4 airbase supply and 30 runway hits.

Returning course to base bearing 30º, 15 knots.

The wrath of the IJN C-IN-C will fall over us after the sinking of another freighter have been reported near Ominato with another two large Cargo Ship (two Aden Class) heavily damaged (they got underway to be docked at Ominato and Hakodate). Enemy submarine attacked yesterday another ship from Shikuka-Ominato Convoy sinking her. It´s mandatory to reinforce ASW assets in this area if both of us want to be in our command post for the next month!.

XAK CALCUTTA MARU was torpedoed near Ominato, after one hit she got underway to get Ominato port with 21/59/2/7 damage reported.
XAK HITERU MARU was torpedoed near Ominato (she was in the same convoy that Calcutta M.) She got Hakodate with 20/51/6/9 damages reported.
XAK UNKAI MARU was hit by another torpedo from the same boat near Sapporo when returning back with her convoy to mother-port!!. She sunk at afternoon.

Meassures will be taken from 5th Fleet yet, more will be hoped from you!

Today at early morning our battleships from BATDIV1(BB YAMATO-BB NAGATO) supported by Heavy Cruisers HIJMS ASHIGARA, HIJMS NACHI and HIJMS HAGURO and Light Cruiser HIJMS NAGARA have bombed enemy base at Vanikoro Island. 1 airbase supply, 5 runway, and 2 port hits have been reported. Several gun flash spotted in responds of our fire but no damages have been reported aboard our ships.

E13A1 recon flights over Vanikoro Island were scheduled to recon damages on airstrips.

I am proud to announce the great victory from Chinese elements in the North of Sian. Our courageous forces have bypassed the main elements and faced by 07 enemy corps and under a heavy air support from 1st Air Division launched a massive offensive with 6 tank regiments (9th, 12nd, 13rd, 4th, 10th and 11th) supporting the storm of 4 Infantry divisions (6th, 110th, 37th and 41st) with the guns of 11th F.A.Regiment.

Enemy have lost 10.542 men vs 1.207 IJA casualties. Our forces march to south to smash enemy fleeing units and close the siege around Sian city.

I hope allied bulldozers will works for months !!.. Meanwhile they are working, they are not advancing with assault forces[:D]

Jonathan´s agresiveness with his carriers, submarines and air forces is a prediction for a next future allied offensive... Where? That´s the question!!

From Tarawa, 13 A6M3 take off in our first strike wave against enemy naval targets over Tabiteuea. 07 F4F3 intercepted them over the target with 1 F4F3 (USMC) downed. In a second wave 9 A6M2 escorted 5 B5N2 (bomb payload) to attack one enemy destroyer-minesweeper DMS CHANDLER. No hits reported. No air losses.
At afternoon, another 15 A6M2 swept Tabiteuea skies dogfighting over enemy shps with 5 F4F3. A second aft wave with 5 B5N2 (torpedo armed) escorted by 9 A6M2 reported one torpedo hit on XAP RANGITIKI off Tabiteua. 48 casualties reported. Enemy ship unloading forces at Tabiteuea.

Over Ndeni our 25th Air Flotilla assets launched several sweep waves, like bellow:

- 9 A6M2 dogfigthed with 11 P40 and 5 F4F3A. 1 A6M2 lost
- 11 A6M2 dogfighted with 8 P40 and 5 F4F3A. 1 A6M2 lost with 1 P40E claimed downed.

Enemy heavy bombers stroke Port Moresby. 17 B17E were intercepted by IJA fighters (29 Ki-43Ic). 07 enemy bombers were claimed damages but no one downed.

Air Reseves at Truk have been put under Hight Alert awaiting news from the enemy.

Today, I-122 reports sinking of a large attack transport off TABITEUEA ISLAND (SOUTHERN GILBERTS). Enemy ship was damaged in a previous air attack from 24th Air Flotilla assets from Tarawa Island. Our boat claimed the sinking of the ship after two torpedo hits amidship with 25 enemy casualties reported (from ground unit).

25th Air Flotilla Reported:

- 09 A6M2 take off from Munda to sweep Ndeni skies reporting dogfights with 3 F4F3A and 10 P40E. 3 enemy P-40s were downed without own losses.
- 06 A6M2 swept Ndeni one hour later to be intercepted by 2 F4F3A and 2 P40E. 1 enemy P-40E was downed. No own losses were reported.

24th Air Flotilla Reported:

- 10 A6M2 take off from Tarawa to swept Tabiteuea, reporting 5 F4F3 on CAP. 1 A6M2 was downed by 1 F4F3 destroyed too.
- 13 A6M3 flying from Tarawa to sweep Tabiteuea reported no enemy fighters were on CAP.
- 15 A6M3 take off from Tarawa in an antishipping mission at medium level reporting attacks over an enemy fleet destroyer (reported like DD McCALL). No hits.
- 09 A6M2 escorted 5 B5n2 (bomb payload) to strike enemy ships around Tabiteua. DMS Chandler bombed without hits.
- In an afternoon wave, 9 A6M2 escorting 5 B5N2 (torpedo armed) were intercepted over Tabiteuea by a lonely F4F3A. Enemy aircraft was overwhelmed and destroyed by our fighters. XAK DESLOCK was sunk after two torpedo hits.

Undetected, the Royal Navy have launched a carrier based raid over our holy oil/refineries factories at Palembang.

Luckly for us, 21ST AIR FLOTILLA have one Reserve Daitai (Kanoya Ku S-1) on Palembang with several veteran pilots in training duties with another rookies. Ready to be redeployed at South Seas, Kanoya Daitai will hold on Java to protect our valuable resources factories there. Thanksgiven to our size 4 fortifications level, we have not been damages so much.

Raid was spotted with 6 Martlet escorting 12 older Swordfish and 18 Albacores. Our Kanoya fighter Daitai reporte 9 Swordfish, 2 Albacores and 4 Martlet downed without own losses. 1 Swordfish was destroyed by FLAK (One IJA AA Regiment at Palembang).

02 Oil REfineries were damaged by this bastardly attack!

Two refineries factories damaged are too much for "my Empire".. Both you should knows that these factories will cost 2.000 valuable tonns of supplies to be repaired !. The foes of the Empire will be erased from the face of the Earth!. British and Americans, are both unconscious of Emperor´s willness. Peace and richness for the Japan´s metropolitan population have been damaged for these air pirates. A great blow, full of warth will be ordered from the Supreme Commander Council !.

(Have you any humor sense ? i hope that!)

XVI ARMY REPORTS:

Near Tuyun, 2nd and 8th Tank Regiment supporting 38th I.D. 2nd I.D. with backbone of 2 Field Arty Regiments have stromed 67th Chinese Corps southwestern approaches of Tuyun City. Our forces have reported 92 IJA men lost vs 969 Chinese casualties. LTGEN Immamura reports Tuyun will be in our hands in two weeks.

XV ARMY REPORTS:

LTGEN Iida with 48th I.D., 16th I.D., and Guards have stomren Tsuyun in the Western China. At defense only 1 chinese division and 1 chinese corps under size 3 fortification level. Our forces reduces forty to size 2. 1.725 IJA casaulties were reported vs 1.239 chinese men lost.

1ST AIR DIVISION REPORTS:

- 48 IJA Level bombers escorted by 35 KI-43-Ic have stromed Tuyun AF. 3 P66 and 5 P40E were on CAP. Enemy have lost 1 P66 and another P-40E. 1 airbase, 4 airbase supply and 37 runway hits reported.
- 10 Ki-27b escorting 105 IJA level bombers have stormed Kweilin airfield. 4 airbase, 3 airbase supply and 106 runway hits were reported there.
- 1 Ki-27b escorting 21 Ki-21IIa have bombed Sian AF. 10 P43A1 have been on CAP. 1 Ki-21-IIa have been downed. 11 casaulties from 82nd Chinese Corps have been reported.
- 5 KIA twin engine fighters have escorted 4 Ki-48IIa over Sian. 8 P-43A1 have been on CAP. 1 Ki-27 and 1 Ki-48 have been downed by enemy.
- 35 Ki-43-Ic and 5 Ki-45 KAI have escorted 11 Ki-21-IIa over Tuyun. 2 P-40E and 1 P-66 were on CAP. 1 P-40E and 1 Ki-43Ic have been donwed. 1 airbase, 1 airbase supply and 5 runway hits reported.
